Sophie Smith changed her clothes and went back to the room.
She gently woke Alexander up, helped him wash up, and when Alexander sat at the dining table, he tilted his head and saw the man lounging with crossed legs on the sofa in the hall.
"Uncle, how co you’re here so early today?" Alexander asked nonchalantly while sipping his milk.
After all, he was already used to Asher Land coming over to their house for no particular reason.
"Oh, Alexander, Mommy has decided that we, we’re going to move over and live with Uncle." Sophie didn’t know how Alexander would react, so she cautiously spoke the words, peeling an apple while occasionally checking Alexander’s expression.
Alexander stopped sipping his milk.
"Mommy, why? You never told this before!"
Previously, Asher Land hadn’t ntioned it to her either. This man usually just did what ca to his mind.
"Alexander, you don’t need to overthink it, we’re just changing places to live. We’re going to live at Granny Garcia’s. Mommy lived there before, and the house there is much bigger than where we live now, right?"
"Then why didn’t you move when Uncle Davis asked you to? His house is quite big too!"
At the ntion of Nolan Davis, Sophie looked up awkwardly at Asher Land, only to find he wasn’t looking their way. He was casually flipping through a magazine, seemingly oblivious to their conversation.
Even if Alexander was reluctant to move from here, he’s always been an obedient child. Since Sophie had made the decision, he wouldn’t say anything against it.
Nanny Garcia knew that Asher Land would be moving in with Sophie and Alexander today, and words couldn’t describe her happiness.
She had already cleaned up the entire big villa early, but now, she was the only servant left in the Land Family, so cleaning was quite a task.
Around eleven in the morning, Asher Land drove Sophie and Alexander over.
"Young Master, Miss Smith." Nanny Garcia stood by, overwheld with emotions. Watching the Young Master and Miss Smith return together after so many years felt unreal.
Sophie looked at the familiar scenes, as if the tis she spent with Asher Land were just yesterday.
Back then, they used to bicker often, a minor squabble every day, and a major one every three days, always worrying Nanny Garcia who stood by.
In front of him, she was incredibly stubborn and never easily gave in.
However, each ti he was helpless against her.
Thinking of Asher Land’s resigned and beaten look, she couldn’t help but smile faintly.
"What are you laughing at?" He pinched her waist lightly, making Sophie, who was ticklish, shrink away from him.
"Uncle, you’re bullying Mommy again." Alexander said seriously.
"Oh, young master, how about Granny Garcia takes you to see the garden? Weren’t you saying you wanted to see the flowers last ti?" Nanny Garcia cleverly took Alexander away.
Seeing the two walk out of the hall, Asher Land bent down, lifted Sophie, and carried her upstairs.
Sophie’s body suddenly lost balance, and she let out a cry in surprise.
Hearing her scream, he couldn’t help but curl his lips in delight.
"Are you... a bit eager?" He gently placed a kiss on her forehead, his eyes full of tenderness.
