Sophie Smith went to the outdoor shoot with the film crew.
The main actors this ti were Isabella Yates, and besides her, there were so extras. There were quite a few people, and the outdoor location was chosen in the countryside, a place suitable for picnics and spring outings.
Inside the bus.
Isabella Yates leaned her head against the window, originally resting with her eyes closed. As soon as she saw Sophie Smith get on the bus, she perked up, as if she’d been injected with adrenaline, and couldn’t help but start making snide remarks at Sophie.
Sophie sat down at the farthest spot from Isabella, wearing headphones.
The argunt with Asher Land a while ago had left her not yet recovered, and if Isabella insisted on antagonizing her, she couldn’t guarantee she wouldn’t act impulsively.
The outdoor location was really far from the city, taking about three hours by bus to get there.
Sophie, having done her makeup early, sat outside the set waiting.
It was Isabella’s scene first. She kept getting retakes, and Sophie waited a long ti without getting her turn. She couldn’t help but start to wonder if Isabella was intentionally stalling. If this continued, she might not be able to finish her scene before dark, aning she’d have to co again tomorrow.
Sure enough, Isabella didn’t "disappoint"; her shoot took an hour.
By the ti Sophie went for her outdoor scenes, it was already 2 p.m. Adding the three-hour drive and Isabella’s hour, along with so fragnted ti, when Sophie’s turn ca, it was already getting dark.
Luckily, Sophie had strong adaptability and could get into character quickly, so it didn’t take long to finish her scene.
The crew started boarding the bus one after another, and the assistant began tidying things up.
"Oh, director, I want to go to the restroom," Isabella Yates said, standing at the bus door just as it was about to leave.
This was the countryside, and the restroom was a few hundred ters ahead where there was a public one.
But, nature called, and the director couldn’t say much.
"Sophie, can you co with ?" It was a dark, windy night, and seeing no one around, Isabella was a bit scared, scanning the bus to find only Sophie as a ’familiar face.’
Sophie hesitated for a mont but nodded in agreent.
The path to the restroom was a narrow one, with grass growing on both sides, and Isabella grabbed Sophie’s arm.
"Do you think there are snakes...?"
Sophie chuckled lightly, wasn’t she quite bold when bullying others?
Resigning, she shook her head and took out her phone to hand it to Isabella.
"You can use it to light your way."
Isabella obediently did so.
The countryside was truly terrifying now, both dark and quiet, every little sound could be heard clearly. Tonight, the weather suddenly turned nasty with a cold wind blowing; Isabella couldn’t help but shiver.
"Oh, Sophie, you co in too. I’m a bit scared alone..."
Isabella didn’t even dare to go into the restroom by herself, dragging Sophie in with her.
Sophie didn’t know what was up with her today; was she really following all of Isabella’s ’commands’?
Why was she accompanying her to the restroom? Wouldn’t it be nice to let her feel the fear alone?
But, after all, she was soft-hearted.
She had no choice but to follow Isabella inside.
