"Asher Land..." she softly murmured his na, feeling an overwhelming urge to stand up and walk to him, but having squatted too long, her legs were already numb. As she just managed to rise a little, she stumbled, nearly falling.
He furrowed his brow tightly, inwardly tumultuous yet fiercely restrained.
Why was he so silent and reserved? Sophie Smith couldn’t figure it out.
Was he really angry with her, and didn’t want to ’rescue’ her in the middle of the night...
Her eyes dimd slightly.
Asher Land walked over, stood in front of her, and picked her up in his arms.
"Sophie, can’t you be a little less worrying?"
His eyes were full of distress as he held her, walking step by step towards the car parked outside.
He placed her on the passenger seat and fastened her seatbelt.
The atmosphere was a bit awkward. Sophie recalled how aggressive she had been with him during the day, feeling a mont of discomfort.
Asher Land drove the car intently, his gaze fixed on the road ahead.
His presence was so fitting, so natural.
On the more than three-hour journey back to the Land Family, there was no conversation between the two, the atmosphere peaceful and quiet.
When the car stopped in front of the Land Family villa’s square, Sophie had already fallen asleep.
Firstly, because of Asher Land’s presence, she felt very secure, and secondly, she was indeed a bit tired from the day’s labors.
Asher Land looked at her for a long ti, not having the heart to disturb her.
He quietly walked to her side, gently opened the car door, and carefully carried her out of the car.
Just as they entered the hall, Nanny Garcia was about to co out to greet them, but Asher Land gestured for silence, and Nanny Garcia wisely stepped back.
Asher Land carried her into the master bedroom.
"Sophie, wake up first, take a bath before sleeping..." He looked down at the woman in his arms, who pouted and mumbled, furrowing her brow, seemingly protesting sothing.
"How about a bath first?" he coaxed softly, trying to wake her up.
"I still want to sleep, wait... I’ll take one after I wake up..." she mumbled back groggily.
She was really exhausted today. In the morning, he had already worn her out, and then the afternoon shoot, being stuck in the bathroom for hours...
He shook his head and gently laid her on the bed.
His large hands skillfully unfastened her clothes.
"If you’re unwilling to bathe yourself, then I’ll do it for you. Just don’t wake up screaming that I took advantage of you..."
Having stripped her clothes off cleanly, he lifted her from the bed, kicked off his shoes, and carried her barefoot towards the bathroom.
In the bathtub, Sophie subconsciously found a comfortable position to lie down, seemingly waiting for soone’s ’service’...
Asher Land was indeed cooperative, his long fingers gently pressing into every inch of her soft skin, making Sophie moan in comfort even in her sleep.
However, her few moans sounded like an aphrodisiac to Asher Land, making him painfully aroused.
"Little minx..." a self-deprecating smile tugged at his lips, acknowledging his utter helplessness before her...
After so ti, Sophie’s consciousness seed to awaken. She could feel her chest, her back, and even her private parts being gently kneaded by a pair of broad hands...
