Seeing Asher Land’s silence, Sophie Smith felt disappointed, truly disappointed.
She climbed down from the bed, without even putting on her shoes, barefoot, stepping on the cold floor, and headed towards the door.
Just as her small hand touched the doorknob, she was suddenly pulled back by a strong force.
"What... are you doing?" Her tone was calm yet carried a hint of disdain and contempt, "If we’re not getting married, don’t do anything excessive."
Sophie knew she was being aggressive, but she couldn’t help it. After all, the words had been said, the situation had escalated to this point, a clean break was better than dragging things out endlessly. Honestly, she was tired of being the woman who was never acknowledged by Asher Land. It wasn’t about the title; she just wanted the relationship to settle down.

She didn’t want to see any ongoing ties between him and Irene Morton.

He took a deep breath from the bottom of his heart, his big hand brushed across her cheek, Sophie tilted her head to avoid him, but he gripped her chin.
"Not getting married, so don’t do anything excessive?" His warm breath lightly passed by, Sophie frowned and nodded.

Suddenly, the anger and uneasiness he had vanished, replaced by a mischievous smile at the corners of his mouth, his big hand slipped into her nightdress...
"What are you trying to do?" Sophie turned her head away, no longer looking at him, "Trying to force yourself on ?"
"How could it be forcing?" He lifted her in his arms and placed her back on the bed, "After all, we’re going to the registry office to get the marriage certificate tomorrow. I’m just exercising my husbandly rights a bit early, so it’s not wrong."

He buried his head in her neck, chuckled lightly, and bit her neck.
"Ah, it hurts..." Sophie, bitten like this, nearly burst into tears.

"I’ll repeat it once more, don’t ask a second ti." He curved his lips, his gaze doting, "We’re going to the registration office tomorrow, did you hear clearly?"
Perhaps, this is what they call happiness coming too suddenly, Sophie was fussing, yet she hadn’t expected that at this mont, he actually ’compromised’ with her?

She closed her eyes, her long eyelashes trembled slightly.
Tears couldn’t help but slide down, and the man who was previously imrsed and busy at her chest suddenly lifted his head and saw this scene.
Won’s thoughts are indeed hard to guess, not agreeing to marriage would make her cry, and now he’s agreed, why, is she still crying?
Just as he was puzzled, Sophie suddenly pushed him away and sat up.
"What, regretting it?" He raised his brows lightly, a playful smile at the corners of his mouth, "Didn’t you say, if not married don’t touch, if married it’s okay?"
Sophie took a deep breath from the bottom of her heart, the softness of her chest still heaving intensely from his earlier teasing.
