Irene took a step back, turned around, opened the door, and ran out.
Colton feared sothing might happen to his precious daughter, so without a mont’s hesitation, he ran out after her.
"What are you doing this for? Hurting yourself again?" Luke looked at the constantly bleeding hand of Asher, and he felt truly vexed.

What should he do?
He felt like he was about to go insane. Sophie repeatedly said that Irene should be punished justly and that he shouldn’t shield her. Was he really going to send Irene to jail?
He didn’t like Irene, even felt repulsed by her ways from the bottom of his heart, but that didn’t an he could dismiss the gratitude for the past four long years she had been there for him.
However, he truly didn’t want to hurt Sophie. If he protected Irene, Sophie would surely hate him to death.
His current mood was like being in a bottomless, dark abyss, suffocating.
His mind was in turmoil with these difficult choices, becoming painfully uncontrolled.
The car’s speed gradually slowed down, eventually stopping by the roadside.
