"What do you want?" Sophie Smith retreated a few steps, looking at Asher Land with a wary expression.
She only kicked him once, right? Why did he look like he was going to eat her?
"Do you know how much damage that kick caused ?" He extended his long arm, pulling her into his embrace as his large hand began to misbehave.
"Asher Land, you, don’t ss around!" She pressed against his chest, struggling fiercely.
"Isn’t it quite normal for to give you a little punishnt for kicking ?" His large hand brushed over her cheek, lifting her chin, forcing her to look up at him.
"I, I was wrong, okay? Let go?" Why was this man so petty?
Sophie knew she couldn’t outsmart him, so she gave in spinelessly, although she’d rather not. But this man was unyielding; she was certain she couldn’t win against him.
"You know, my favorite thing is seeing you look helpless and unable to resist."
"You bastard!"
Ignoring everything, Asher Land directly picked her up horizontally and placed her on the sofa, paying no attention to her struggles.
"I an, what’s your problem?" He chuckled lightly. "I’ll be gentler, no need to be so violent, okay?"
Shaless man!
Sophie’s nails scratched across Asher Land’s bare shoulder, leaving a bloodstain.
That’s right, sotis she could be violent too! She wasn’t a docile little lamb.
"Could you be gentler?" Asher Land grunted, frowning unpleasantly. "Now, the old wound hasn’t healed, and there’s a new one. If you grab again, I won’t let you off tonight."
He narrowed his dangerous eyes, threatening word by word.
Sophie’s hand unconsciously loosened slightly.
If she had known kicking him would result in such a painful consequence, she wouldn’t have done it for a million bucks.
At a crucial mont, his phone rang.
He ignored it, but the calls kept coming, persistent.
He reached out for the phone and answered it offhandedly.
Naturally, he was busy now, with no free hand for the phone, so he put it on speaker and tossed it aside.
"President Land, I’m at your doorstep, could you open the door for ?" Anna stood outside the door excitedly, both eager and restless.
"Go back," he said, his voice carrying a hint of huskiness.
"President Land, didn’t you ask to co over to keep you company? I’m already at the apartnt door..."
Apparently, Anna wasn’t giving up.
"I said get lost." At this mont, he didn’t want to waste words with anyone.
As soon as Anna heard, so indistinct sounds made her blush. She realized Asher Land must have a woman with him now, her face suddenly reddened. Could it be she was late, and Asher Land got impatient waiting and found soone else? She couldn’t help but secretly regret.
"President Land..."
Just as she was about to speak, Asher Land hung up the phone.
He tossed the phone aside, looking at the enchanting woman beneath him, curling his lips.
"I said, now no one will disturb us." His lips curved into a wicked smile.
