Damn it, if she really dares to do a bed scene with another man, he would turn the entire film set upside down.
There were only about ten minutes left before the official shooting started. Sophie Smith was deeply imrsed in her emotions, and the director stood beside her without approaching. So far, he hadn’t dared to tell her about Daniel Hughes’ unauthorized addition of a scene to do a bed scene with her.
As Sophie was heading towards the filming location, the director noticed Asher Land hadn’t arrived yet and without enough ti, he had no choice but to pull Sophie aside to tell her about Daniel Hughes’ sudden addition to the scene.
"What?" Sophie felt this request was unreasonable. Daniel Hughes, an amateur actor, parachuted into the film crew, which Sophie already found very strange. Now, he even made such an absurd request, and the director ntioned that Daniel’s suggestion was for her to be completely naked?
"Impossible!" Sophie said firmly.
"Sophie, you’re a professional actress, what’s shooting a bed scene?" The director originally didn’t want to agree with Daniel, so he called Asher for help, hoping he could step in to ’rescue’ Sophie. Who would have known Asher hadn’t shown up yet, leaving the director with the only option of not offending young master Hughes.
"Director, before the production started, I told you I wouldn’t do kissing scenes or bed scenes. It’s obvious that the young master from the Hughes Family is doing this on purpose..."
Sophie hadn’t finished speaking when she saw a tall, familiar figure approaching from behind the director. Her expression instantly froze, and she swallowed the rest of her words.
Asher Land’s cold yet strikingly handso face magnified in her pupils. Due to the hurried approach, his breathing was slightly uneven, but even so, his expression remained unusually calm and composed.
The director saw Sophie looking lost, staring intently behind him, unsure of what had happened, and turned around to follow her gaze...
"Ah, President Land, you ca to visit Sophie on set!" The director intentionally raised his voice so Daniel Hughes, not far away, could hear clearly.
Sure enough, upon hearing this, Daniel’s head turned towards them. Seeing Asher, his face turned pale.
There were still five steps between Sophie and Asher. Initially, the director was standing between them, but reflexively, he quickly stepped aside to give them a path. Strangely, Asher and Sophie stood still where they were, neither showing any intention of stepping forward.
The director couldn’t help but wonder what was going on.
"Sophie, ..." the director quietly hinted, "if you don’t want to shoot this scene, you, you should talk to President Land..."
The director lowered his voice, but Asher still clearly heard the conversation.
His gaze fell on her scrutinizingly, waiting for her to speak up.
They probably hadn’t seen each other for a long ti. During this ti, it wasn’t that he hadn’t thought of finding her, but even when he stood at her doorstep, she would never open the door for him. It was as if she had resolved to end their relationship...
She had beco thinner, so light as if a gust of wind could blow her away. It made one’s heart ache to see.
