"Oh, is that so?"
He let out a cold laugh, reached out his hand, and touched the corner of her towel. With a pull, her towel slipped off.
Suddenly, her body was fully exposed in front of him.
"Bastard!" Sophie cursed and reached out to snatch the towel from him. He stood close to the door, slightly opened it, and tossed the towel outside.
"Do you want it? Go out and get it yourself."
He smiled innocently, shrugged his shoulders, and even stepped aside to make way for her.
Sophie’s chest heaved violently, the softness in front of her gently trembling, causing his Adam’s apple to move involuntarily.
"Asher Land, can you be any more shaless?"
"Of course I can."
He pretended to think deeply for a mont, then reached out, acting as if to open the door.
"Shall I open the door for you so you can go fetch it yourself?"
"Maniac!"
Sophie turned her head away, feeling sowhat aggrieved by his deliberate teasing.
Ultimately, he couldn’t bear it; his woman, Asher Land’s woman, couldn’t be seen or coveted by other n.
He closed and locked the door, then walked over to her.
Even though she and Asher Land had been intimate many tis, standing nude before him still made her feel sowhat ashad.
As he approached, she turned her back to him, placing her hands over her chest.
"Sophie, do you really have to do this?"
Oh, she truly didn’t understand what he ant?
What did he an by asking if she really had to do this?
This question should be hers to ask.
Sophie was clearly unwilling to deal with him anymore, feeling guiltier towards Wyatt Sterling with every word she exchanged with Asher.
Asher Land, seeing her silent and distant behavior towards him, couldn’t help but find it both irritating and amusing. Did their relationship always an less to her than the one with that Wyatt Sterling?
The small hotel room was a bit chilly, and Sophie wrapped her thin arms around her frail body. How long was that despicable Asher Land going to tornt her?
"Asher Land, I want you to bring the towel in now."
Sophie shouted at Asher Land, initially thinking that he would never listen to her so easily. But unexpectedly, this ti he didn’t say much and obediently went out...
Outside the door stood a large group of crew mbers he had just sent away.
Everyone looked at each other, only watching as Asher Land bent down and picked up the towel tossed aside.
He paused for a mont, as if rembering sothing, and suddenly turned back.
"We’re not filming today’s scene; Miss Smith is inconvenient."
"President Land, what do you an?"
The director was sowhat puzzled.
"She’s on her period."
"..."
The disbelief was written all over their faces.
"Then, President Land, should we wait until Miss Smith’s period ends and then... film the scene?"
The director lacked understanding; he hadn’t caught on to Asher Land’s half-truths. Asher was simply unwilling to let Sophie shoot a bed scene with another man, so he fabricated an excuse, yet the director was dull-witted.
"Actually, we can film now, but..."
Asher Land curled his lips into a mischievous smile, leaned closer to the director’s ear, and moved his lips slightly. The director, upon hearing what Asher Land said, was instantly shocked.
