"You should take care of yourself first."
Luke Land imdiately saw through his brother’s thoughts.
"If you really don’t want Sophie to worry, or if you hope to take good care of her in the future, then listen to the doctor. Go to the United States for the surgery now. If the recovery goes well, you can return in two months. By then, Sophie’s eyes will be gradually recovering. Wouldn’t it be nice to reunite happily and harmoniously?"
Eva Miller seed to understand the aning behind the brothers’ conversation as well.
"President Land, you can go to the United States with peace of mind. Don’t worry, with here, I will certainly take good care of Sophie. If anything happens to her, I’ll face you myself!"
Eva spoke with righteous conviction.

"You’re so noisy, shut up."
Asher Land impatiently interrupted Luke, who was about to speak at length, "I’ll take Sophie to the operating room. If her surgery is successful, I’ll fly to the United States tonight."
Luke was slightly taken aback for a mont, then quickly understood.
"Alright."
Seeing Asher relent, Luke felt a sense of relief.
At three in the afternoon, Sophie would be sent to the operating room.
"Asher Land..."
She called his na uneasily.
"I’m here, don’t worry, everything will be fine."
"Okay." She nodded.
He leaned down to place a gentle kiss on her forehead, whispering comforting words in her ear as Sophie was taken into the operating room.
The surgery would take an hour and a half, which was undoubtedly a long and difficult process for him.
He leaned partially against the white wall of the hospital corridor, his head slightly bowed, unable to hide his worry.

"President Land, the surgery was very successful."
The door of the operating room opened, and the Chief Doctor removed his mask to deliver the good news.
Sophie was wheeled out of the operating room, but due to the effects of anesthesia, she hadn’t fully regained consciousness.
"Don’t worry, we’ll definitely take good care of Sophie. Robert Williams has parked the car outside the hospital. You should head to the airport quickly."
"Wait a mont."
Asher walked to a secluded corner with his phone.
"What is he up to?" Luke wondered, uncertain if Asher planned to back out again.
He hesitated briefly but decided to follow.
However, by the ti he caught up, Asher had already turned around.
"When Sophie wakes up, play the recording on the phone for her, okay?" He paused, "But if she doesn’t want to see when she wakes up, then don’t let her listen."
After all, he still couldn’t guess her thoughts.
Luke took the phone and nodded in agreent.
He looked at the hospital room one last ti. Seeing her lying there peacefully, no longer in danger, he was indeed much more at ease.

Sophie woke up in the middle of the night.
In her current state, she couldn’t tell if it was day or night.
She rely moved her fingers slightly, and soone imdiately grasped them.
It was a pair of large, warm hands, and her mind instinctively thought it was Asher Land.
"You’re hurting ."
She withdrew her hand from the large grip.
Nolan Davis retracted his hand sowhat disappointedly, "I’m sorry, Little Sophie."
"Is it you, Mr. Davis?"
Sophie couldn’t believe that the first person to watch over her, to see her awaken, was Nolan Davis?
