Hearing a sound, Naoki swiftly turned his head.
Imdiately, at the narrow entrance of the cave, he saw a Pokemon that looked sowhat like a fox.
Its entire body was covered in a layer of light blue fur, its head appearing as if adorned with a double-layered woven hat for warmth, blue fur growing on its forehead, extending like braids to the front.
It had four legs, with dark blue fur on its feet, looking as if it were wearing blue boots.
That was... Glaceon!
It had appeared there unnoticed, perhaps having followed closely behind him and Koraidon.
Everett was indeed telling the truth!
There truly was a Glaceon residing under Glaseado’s Grasp!
Naoki’s eyes lit up instantly.
So next, it was ti to consider how to capture this Glaceon.
With this in mind, Naoki looked up at the Glaceon.
Its expression was vigilant, its gaze holding a hint of anger as it looked over.
It seed that to this Glaceon, he and Koraidon were invaders trespassing into its territory.
Glaceon crouched slightly, taking a stance of attack, issuing a warning sound: "Bui!"
Naoki: "..."
He was about to explain that it was a misunderstanding, but before he could react, Glaceon suddenly raised its head warily to look upward.
Naoki also turned to look back, spotting a Froslass in a small ice cave on the rock wall behind him.
The Froslass observed the scene below with serene composure.
Its gaze shifted between the Glaceon and the suddenly appearing human, finally resting on a stone on the Lake Island that emitted a white chill.
The next mont, the Froslass moved, a blue light surfacing in its eyes.
Suddenly, Naoki saw blue light manifest on the stone beside him.
"Bui!"
Witnessing this, Glaceon sprinted over rapidly.
Chunks of ice instantly ford around it, speeding towards the Froslass.
The ice shards hit the target successfully, having little effect but managing to disrupt the Froslass’s movents.
Glaceon leaped with great agility, hopping onto the Lake Island, standing firmly on the stone, proclaiming its sovereignty to the Froslass fearlessly.
"Bui!"
This was its treasure, and it would absolutely not allow anyone to covet it!
Witnessing this scene, Naoki instantly understood.
The Froslass was vying with the Glaceon for that stone containing Ice Type Energy!
So, was it a massive Ice Stone, or an Ice Stone?
Regardless of which it was, it contained Ice Type Energy, which had enormous appeal to Ice Type Pokemon ford naturally.
Though hit by the ice shards, the Froslass’s gaze remained as calm as still water.
Its appearance initially gave the impression of a gentle and tender, kimono-clad graceful lady.
Yet its actions were far from gentle.
Froslass looked icily at the scene below, lightly raising its right hand to gather a pitch-black Shadow Ball, hurling it at Glaceon.
The Shadow Ball seed powerful, and to prevent Naoki from being caught in it, Koraidon unhesitatingly lifted him up by the waist, jumping away from the Lake Island.
They avoided the attack just in ti, but Glaceon wasn’t so lucky.
In a bid to protect its precious treasure, it failed to dodge, being directly hit by the Shadow Ball, its small body knocked to the ground.
Glaceon cried out in pain: "Bui..."
After setting Naoki down, Koraidon turned back toward the Lake Island.
But the Froslass seed unwilling to stop.
Almost tangible Telekinesis surged wildly from it, transforming into a powerful shockwave, sweeping towards Glaceon.
Watching this, Naoki shouted: "Koraidon!"
Koraidon’s body moved simultaneously.
It leaped forward, its tall fra landing in front of Glaceon, blocking the attack with its arms, roaring upwards: "Kashi!"
A powerful pressure instantly overwheld the Froslass.
Fear showed in its eyes.
It didn’t want to provoke the human and the Pokemon, hence its attack target had always been solely Glaceon.
Now it seed, the human decided to intervene, choosing to help Glaceon.
Yet... Froslass looked sowhat unwillingly at the stone that attracted it.
After weighing things over repeatedly, it finally turned and left the place.
Seeing the Froslass leave, Koraidon turned back to look at Glaceon.
A silly smile appeared on its face, asking: "Kashi?"
Glaceon stared blankly at the big guy that had protected it: "Bui...?"
Naoki looked happily at Koraidon and Glaceon over there.
Just then, Koraidon’s speed was so fast, giving him the illusion that even without his command, it would go over to protect Glaceon.
Anyway, as long as Glaceon was alright, that was good.
Naoki stood on the shore, shouting toward the Lake Island: "Hey!"
Hearing his voice, Koraidon ca over to take him to the Lake Island.
Naoki looked at Glaceon, taking out a bottle of Berry Milk from his backpack and offered it to Glaceon.
"Drink it, once you do your injuries will heal!"
"Bui..." Glaceon hesitated for a mont, then turned its head aside, surprisingly refusing the Berry Milk: "Bui."
