"I see." Geeta nodded in understanding.
Although the Paldea League knew that the two professors were conducting research under the Giant Pit, they only had a general idea and didn’t know every single thing they did.
Moreover, not long ago, Professor Sada and Professor Turo developed the Terastal transformation, making Pokemon battles more interesting.
Recently, the Paldea League has been promoting Terastal all over.
The first to bear the brunt were the Gym Leaders scattered across Paldea.
As she looked at the Pokemon nad Koraidon, Geeta’s mind once again conjured images of the Dragonite summoning storms and Gogoats spreading Grassy Terrain to cover the mountains and fields.
At that mont, she suddenly beca more interested in this ranch.
"If it’s convenient, could you take to see those three Gogoats?" Geeta asked.
"Of course." Naoki nodded with a smile, "Please follow !"
The two walked ahead, and as Geeta moved forward, she observed the surrounding environnt.
From the bountiful rows of crops and the perfectly trimd lawns, the ranch was managed beautifully.
So Pokemon were running and playing on the grass, and Geeta looked at them, softly reciting their nas.
"Alcremie, Naclstack, Glaceon, Butterfree, Combee, Miltank..."
Walking in front, Naoki noticed Geeta’s gaze and purposely slowed his steps to introduce her:
"These Pokemon gathered at this ranch over ti. Naclstack can produce nutrient-rich rock salt, Combee can collect nectar to brew honey, and Miltank can produce delicious fresh milk."
Upon hearing this, Geeta, who had never been exposed to this, nodded slightly and gazed at Miltank, softly saying, "I kind of get it."
In the Paldea Region, there’s more than one ranch and farm, and the crops and fresh milk produced from these places are sold everywhere, thus nourishing batch after batch of Paldeans.
Geeta smiled, about to say sothing when a splash of bright red suddenly appeared in her vision.
She looked up, only to see a Pawmot with a red cloak around its neck flying in front of Naoki, handing him a dirt-covered egg.
Seeing this scene, Geeta’s face was full of astonishnt.
Did she see wrong? Was Pawmot... flying?
It rained yesterday, and a hen laid an egg outside, getting dirtied. Pawmot happened to discover this egg while patrolling near the Chicken House and hence brought it to Naoki.
"Pawmot!"
Naoki roughly guessed Pawmot’s aning, nodded, and said, "It’s fine, take it to your sister Indeedee, and I’ll make an olet for you later."
"Pawmot~"
Upon hearing there’d be an olet, Pawmot happily took the egg and flew away.
Naoki turned back and saw Geeta’s gaze was tightly following Pawmot, her face showing a particularly surprised expression.
Naoki: "..."
Only when Pawmot had entered the mansion did Geeta retract her gaze and look at Naoki: "Is that Pawmot also your Pokemon?"
Naoki: "Yes."
Geeta asked curiously, "How did you train it to learn to fly?"
Naoki was montarily at a loss for how to respond, so he earnestly looked at Geeta and asked, "Would you believe if I said it’s naturally gifted?"
Geeta blinked, revealing an understanding expression: "Since it’s your secret, I won’t ask further. Let’s go; I want to et the Gogoats."
Naoki breathed a sigh of relief, thinking that this Champion was quite perceptive.
He didn’t continue on this topic but instead led Geeta to the sheep pen.
At this ti, the Gogoats were crowded around the trough, ravenously devouring the grassy seed inside.
Looking at the three robust Gogoats, Geeta praised, "You’ve raised them well."
Naoki thought: It’s due to eating all the Grassy Seeds.
Geeta asked, "I heard from Miss Joy that these three Gogoats once experienced a state of energy surplus, having to expend energy in Grassy Terrain every morning, is that right?"
Naoki nodded, "Yes, at that ti, they would dance every day like clockwork, and I was really worried, so I asked Miss Joy to co and check on them."
"Dance?" Upon hearing these two words, Geeta imdiately had vivid and cartoonish images of Gogoats jumping on the Grassy Terrain, she couldn’t help but curl her lips: "That does seem accurate."
"Yes!" Naoki also laughed and continued, "The results showed their bodies were fine, just simply had excess energy, maybe because they eat and sleep, and sleep and eat every day."
"I didn’t have a good solution then, so to let them release energy, I hosted Grass Trial battle activities at the ranch, allowing them to battle with passing Trainers to release energy."
Geeta listened with interest: "And then?"
