"Hmm, overall, quite good."
If two Pokemon were to battle together, they could form the "Thunder God and Lightning Mother" duo.
Unfortunately, the ranch doesn’t require battles, and no matter how strong they are, there’s no use for those skills here.
Naoki pondered carefully for a mont and then turned to look at Pawmot and Dragonite, who were holding so Poffins to eat, a look of relief appearing on his face.
All this was their own choice, not because they could only live on the ranch, but because they liked it.
If, when first arriving in this world, Naoki entertained thoughts of traveling around like Ash in the ani.
Then now, he just wants to nest in the ranch with the Pokemon, stay at ho, watch the changing seasons outside, and pass every spring, sumr, autumn, and winter together.
Thinking of this, a sense of hosickness rose silently in Naoki’s heart.
Unknowingly, it had been three days since he left the ranch, and he wondered how everyone there was doing.
The matters at the research institute were resolved; though he didn’t manage to capture the Paradox Pokemon he wanted, compared to the uncontrollable Paradox Pokemon, the Pokemon back at the ranch were far more important.
So, it was ti for them to go ho!
Thus, that afternoon, Naoki found Professor Sada and Professor Turo, telling them of his plans to leave the Area Zero Research Institute the next morning and return to the ranch.
After hearing this, Professor Sada was slightly taken aback: "Not staying a few more days here?"
"No, Koraidon is a bit hosick." Naoki smiled and shook his head in refusal.
Upon hearing this, Professor Sada glanced at Koraidon beside her.
She nodded gently: "If that’s the case, we won’t keep you any longer; when you have the chance next ti, you can visit our research institute again, and we will make you feel at ho!"
Professor Turo also nodded slightly: "By that ti, our research might already have achieved new results, and we’ll surely have a way to communicate normally and coexist peacefully with these Pokemon."
Professor Sada: "Absolutely, when that ti cos, you can bring them back to the ranch worry-free."
They both knew that Naoki liked Paradox Pokemon, and one of the reasons he ca to the Giant Pit was to capture them.
But because those Pokemon had overly aggressive personalities, hadn’t adapted to the presence of humans, and couldn’t communicate, he had to release the Paradox Pokemon he liked...
Hearing these words, Naoki was slightly taken aback.
He could feel the intentions of the two professors.
One has to admit, if they didn’t get fixated on details, they were truly competent Pokemon Doctors.
But, perhaps smart people just like to get fixated on details?
Naoki sighed inwardly, knowing full well his persuasion would be futile given their obsession with Paradox Pokemon, and he simply asked:
"Arven is almost school age, right?"
Professor Sada nodded with a smile: "There’s still two years, and then we’ll send him to Paldea Academy for his studies."
Naoki: "Eight years old... I rember when I was Arven’s age, my mom said if she didn’t keep an eye on for a day, I’d be rolling around on the ground. Compared to , Arven is really impressive!"
Professor Sada and Professor Turo, being smart people, imdiately grasped the hidden aning in these words.
Naoki was implying that children of this age need their parents’ guidance and company.
Regarding such comnts, the two professors did not feel offended, but rather pleasantly surprised and unexpected.
"Looks like Naoki really likes Arven!" Professor Sada thought, otherwise why would he be hoping for them as parents to spend more ti with their child?
Professor Sada suddenly realized she hadn’t seen Arven for several weeks.
Her heart stirred slightly, wanting to go back to see Arven.
However... the research was currently at a critical stage, and they couldn’t leave.
She smiled slightly and nodded: "I think you will beco a great father in the future."
Naoki was taken aback, then replied helplessly: "I temporarily have no plans to get married."
Professor Turo laughed and said: "That day will co eventually; if we were around the sa age, I think we’d have been very good friends."
"Alright then." Professor Sada looked at Koraidon and said: "The ecological research on Koraidon is complete, once you return, you don’t need to provide us with data on Koraidon anymore."
Koraidon, however, didn’t look at her any longer, focusing all attention on Naoki.
Seeing this, Professor Sada continued: "It’s apparent it really likes you, from now on, live well together!"
Naoki nodded slightly.
Seeing that Professor Sada understood his intent, he didn’t say anything more; he rely sighed inwardly, hoping that familial bonds might pull the two professors back a bit!
Yet, Naoki felt the hope was slim.
It was indeed a pity for Arven.
After bidding farewell to the two professors, Naoki departed the next morning, dressed neatly, riding on Koraidon out of the Area Zero Research Institute.
This ti they didn’t slowly retrace their steps but flew directly towards the top of the Giant Pit.
Naoki sat on Koraidon’s back, looking down at the Area Zero Research Institute, which was gradually receding.
Afterwards, they should never co back to this place.
Neither he nor Koraidon and the other Pokemon really liked the atmosphere of this place.
