Now reading: Chapter 506 - 292: Koraidon’s Friend from Not Being a Trainer This Time, a Fantasy novel by The Wind of Cycling.

The dense thicket suddenly unfurled, transforming into a massive green canopy, shading Naoki and a group of Pokémon beneath it in the sunlight.

In the blink of an eye, the World Tree shot up from two ters to over three ters.

In this form, it had already grown into a towering tree!

"Maa-ma..."

"Ba-moo..."

"..."

The group of Pokémon around gazed up at the World Tree, whispering in astonishnt.

Calyrex was also taken aback by this scene, then, as if realizing sothing, used telepathy to confirm with Naoki: "Is this the effect of that Leaf Cake?"

Naoki nodded: "Yes."

Calyrex murmured: "How miraculous."

At this mont, a voice suddenly ca from behind.

"Is this the power of The King of Bountiful Harvests? Truly as incredible as Geeta said."

Naoki turned his head to see a girl with long green hair, wearing brown dungarees and a khaki collared shirt on top, looking up at the World Tree in shock.

Noticing Naoki’s gaze, the neatly dressed woman diverted her attention, nodded, and greeted him:

"Hi, superstar favored by the Champion! I’m Rika, here representing the Paldea League to express gratitude to you and The King of Bountiful Harvests."

Rika?

Isn’t she the Ground Type Elite of the Paldea Region? Why is she here?

Naoki was initially surprised, but thinking of Larry being squeezed by Geeta, he wasn’t stunned anymore.

He nodded and responded politely: "Hello, I’m Naoki, the Rancher of Naoki Ranch."

"The Champion told everything, you are truly remarkable! I’ve heard you’re incredibly strong!" Rika said with a smile.

"Uh..." Naoki really didn’t know what to say for a mont, and could only reply: "It’s not that exaggerated." Just an ordinary rancher.

"Hardly sothing to say out loud!" Rika raised an eyebrow: "You’re too modest. Okay, although I’d like to chat with you, there’s more important business to attend to now."

Saying this, Rika walked over to a Pokémon with a huge head.

Though amazed by the size of this Pokémon’s head, she seriously said:

"Naoki, The King of Bountiful Harvests, on behalf of the Paldea League, I express deep thanks to you both."

Naoki kept silent, and Calyrex spoke with authority: "No need for formality."

The Pokémon spoke?! Rika’s pupils slightly contracted, looking a bit shocked.

Is this the legendary telepathy?

Calyrex is a Psychic Type Pokémon?

Rika had seen much of the world and wasn’t too surprised by a talking Pokémon, she continued:

"To show our gratitude to you both, the Paldea League will construct an Abundant Shrine on the hill in honor of The King of Bountiful Harvests, marking this aid."

Having heard beforehand from Geeta, Naoki wasn’t too surprised.

He simply found it interesting.

With the construction of the Abundant Shrine, maybe centuries later, the story of Calyrex instantly growing the flora of the hill will beco legendary.

By then, perhaps it will attract a new generation of Trainers to explore the legend.

Just as people in the Johto Region built the Bell Tower to commorate Ho-oh.

And Calyrex will beco akin to Ho-oh, its legend bound to spread throughout the vast Paldea Land.
