Watching this newly arrived Pokémon at the ranch, Pawmot scratched its head in bewildernt, "Pamo..." (Why is it sleeping during the day...)
"Maaa." Alcremie shook its head, indicating it didn’t know either.
Looking at this giant Pokémon, Alcremie was quite amazed, "Maaa!" (It’s so big!)
It looked even bigger than the Naclstack!
Glaceon remained silent, vaguely sensing a sense of wildness from this Pokémon.
All of a sudden, Flutter Mane seed to sense sothing while asleep, suddenly opened its eyes, and locked gaze with Pawmot in front of it.
"Pamo!"
Pawmot was so startled it fell onto the wooden floor with a thud.
Flutter Mane’s eyes were blood red, looking quite frightening.
With Flutter Mane staring at it, Glaceon’s fur stood on end in fear, and it quickly hid behind Pawmot with Alcremie and Dolliv, cautiously peeking out at Flutter Mane.
Flutter Mane’s eyes were half-open, half-closed, looking as though it hadn’t fully awakened. It yawningly glanced at this group of Pokémon it had never seen before.
The several Pokémon stared at each other, with no one speaking, and the atmosphere quickly descended into silence.
Suddenly, Flutter Mane opened its mouth wide, revealing sharp little fangs, "Awuu!"
"Maaa!"
"Beep!"
"Pamo!"
"Doll!"
The four Pokémon were taken aback, Glaceon’s fur stood on end, Alcremie’s cream flew up in fright, and Dolliv cowered, covering its eyes with its hands, trembling.
Pawmot swallowed hard, summoning up the courage to stand in front of Alcremie and the others, gripping its little hamr tightly, looking at the larger Flutter Mane.
It couldn’t run away; it was Pawmot, the aspiring superhero, set on protecting everyone!
Being stared at by Pawmot like this, Flutter Mane suddenly showed interest, its wild and belligerent nature seemingly provoked, wanting to spar with Pawmot.
Just then, the door to the room was pushed open, and Naoki entered with Koraidon and Cyclizar.
"...What are you guys up to?"
Seeing Naoki, Alcremie and the others quickly hid behind him.
Flutter Mane, full of battle intent, looked at Pawmot and made challenging sounds.
Pawmot was slightly stunned; this Pokémon seed to want to have a battle with it?
Pawmot didn’t back down because it was no longer the weak Pawmi it used to be!
Thinking this, it gripped its little hamr tightly, then loudly agreed, "Pamo!"
Seeing this, Koraidon sighed helplessly, "Ahh-sigh..."
Naoki asked uncertainly, "Do they want to battle?"
Koraidon nodded its large head, "Ahh-sigh."
"I see..." Naoki originally thought Flutter Mane had lost control and was going to harm Alcremie and the others.
But as it turns out, Flutter Mane seed more interested in Pawmot, wanting to spar.
"What a scare." Naoki breathed a sigh of relief, calling out to Pawmot and Flutter Mane, "If it’s sparring, let’s take it outside! I’ll be your referee!"
It would be a good opportunity to see Flutter Mane’s strength.
Thus, Naoki led a group of Pokémon to the field prepared for the Grass Trial beside the Gogoat pen.
Naoki first had Koraidon explain the rules of battle in this era to Flutter Mane, stating that victory was achieved by rendering the opponent unable to battle, not by defeating them.
After listening, Flutter Mane nodded, acknowledging with a low "Mun."
"Alright then, get ready!" Naoki stood at the referee’s position, and once the two Pokémon were in place, he blew the whistle around his neck.
The whistle sounded, and the battle officially began.
Pawmot took the initiative, leaping swiftly into the air, swinging its Mjolnir towards Flutter Mane.
Flutter Mane’s eyes glead with excitent. Rather than evading Pawmot’s attack, it shouted in anticipation, charging to et it.
Its body emitted a radiant, gem-like light.
"Is it using Power Gem?" Naoki watched with surprise.
He had initially thought Flutter Mane would counter with Phantom Force, but was surprised to see it make no attempt to evade, choosing instead to confront Pawmot head-on.
Furthermore, this Flutter Mane seed completely ignorant of Type Matchups, using the Rock-type Power Gem against Electric Fighting Type Pawmot.
"No wonder it’s an ancient Pokémon from the Primitive World!" Naoki mused silently, noting its direct and aggressive battle style.
As he pondered, Pawmot and Flutter Mane collided mid-air.
Pawmot’s hamr landed with a crash on Flutter Mane’s head. The dense Electric Type Energy clashed with the light emitted by Flutter Mane, imdiately triggering a massive explosion.
The two Pokémon were sent flying by the blast.
Flutter Mane winced in pain, but its eyes shone with even more excitent, filled with unwavering battle intent.
It let out a roar, waving the wing claws atop its head like a gigantic ape pounding its chest.
As the wing claws swung, a Shadow Ball ford spontaneously. Flutter Mane gripped the Shadow Ball with its wing claw, then hurled it toward Pawmot.
