The TV in the Pokemon Center lobby was looping yesterday’s news.
Naoki sighed again, thanked Miss Joy, and prepared to return to the ranch to continue waiting for Dragonite to co ho.
But just as he was about to turn and leave, a news report on the TV suddenly caught his attention.
"Purple Orchid TV Station is reporting, yesterday at 4 PM near the waters of Sootopolis City, an unprecedented giant tsunami occurred."

Hearing this, Naoki stopped and turned to look.

It was a young man wearing a swimsuit and holding a surfboard.
"It’s true! I saw it too! That gigantic mysterious Pokemon was battling with that Dragonite! I thought a Trainer was capturing Pokemon, but it turns out it was a wild Dragonite! So strange, since Dragonite doesn’t typically reside in the Hoenn Region."
The third person interviewed was a beach tourist wearing a floral shirt, a hat, and a cara hanging from his neck.
He contributed the rare photographs he risked his life to capture yesterday.
In the photo, an ancient-looking blue Pokemon was riding the huge wave, charging towards a Dragonite.
"Look, this is what it looked like! Unfortunately, I was too far away at the ti, so I couldn’t find a better shooting angle!"
"The battle ended quickly, I saw that Dragonite was defeated by the blue Pokemon, fell into the sea, then the giant wave disappeared, the rain stopped, and the blue Pokemon vanished!"
Naoki: "???"
Staring at the familiar figure in the photograph on the TV screen, Naoki was completely dumbfounded.
