Upon hearing this, Eevee imdiately shook its head: "Vee!" It still wanted to evolve into a more powerful Eevee.
Naoki chuckled, "Then let’s have a look! So far, you can choose from eight evolution paths."
Eevee lowered its head to look at the book.
Naoki pointed to the eight evolutionary forms of Eevee above, introducing each one:
"Flareon, a Fire Type Pokemon, can spew scorching flas from its mouth to burn its opponent."
"Vee?" Eevee showed a look of interest, appearing sowhat curious about this Flareon.
Naoki continued, "Vaporeon, a Water Type Pokemon, can rge with water and beco invisible to others. However, after evolution, it will have no fur and will be smooth like a fish in water."
Eevee shivered and imdiately shook its head; it didn’t want to beco like that!
"This is Jolteon, capable of projecting powerful electric currents from its mouth. The stimulus makes its fur stand on end. The book says that because of the electric currents, Jolteon can beco a bit neurotic and difficult to get along with."
Eevee didn’t seem very interested in Jolteon.
"Then take a look at this Leafeon, a Grass Type Pokemon. Once evolved, it can use Synthesis to absorb nutrients and no longer needs to forage for food."
Eevee’s eyes lit up, but thinking of delicious food, it still shook its head; it didn’t want to beco like that.
Naoki smiled slightly and looked to the next one: "This is Glaceon, an Ice Type Pokemon, with a cold body capable of freezing opponents with ice and snow."
"Speaking of which, we also have a Glaceon at ho. You’ve probably t it before, right?" Naoki asked.
Eevee imdiately thought of that cold-looking, hard-to-approach Glaceon: "Vee..."

The two Eevees exchanged glances.
Little Eevee blinked and then greeted it warmly: "Vee!"
Glaceon’s expression didn’t change much; it appeared cold, turning away from Eevee.
"Vee..." Eevee’s tone was very disappointed.
Hearing Eevee’s sad growl, Glaceon’s heart was moved, and it couldn’t help but think:
Would treating the little Eevee this way hurt its feelings? It looks so young... Being treated so coldly, it must feel sad, right?
Thinking of this, Glaceon hesitated and turned back, responding softly, "Vee."

Glaceon didn’t really feel much, as it had already evolved.
