Now that the Rotom Phone had already hit the market, the next thing he needed to get busy with was the Dragonite Delivery Company!
Speaking of Dragonite Delivery, you had to bring up the "Pokemon Online Shopping" app, which was kind of like the TaoBao app.
The app’s design concept was based on a proposal Naoki had supplied earlier, and as far as he was concerned, all the functions that were necessary were already there on Pokemon Online Shopping.
Even though the Rotom Phone had been out for less than a week, thanks to Rotom Technology’s advance groundwork, quite a few rchants had already uploaded their products to the app and officially started doing business.
Naoki skimd over it and found people selling MooMoo Milk, Berries, plush toys, and Poke Balls.
He tapped into the shopping interface, linked his online bank account, and tried buying twenty regular red-and-white balls.
Then two delivery options popped up below.
One was Pelipper Express, where the delivery fee was priced according to distance; the description said that after a custor finished purchasing, the rchant would have a Pelipper help deliver the goods.
All these Pelipper had undergone special training in advance; having lived year-round out at sea, they had an excellent sense of direction and would deliver the goods accurately and promptly to the custor.
The other was regular human transportation, aning a delivery driver driving a big truck back and forth between major cities.
Compared to the first specialized service, this delivery thod took longer, but it was also cheaper.
Staring at the text on the screen, Naoki nodded thoughtfully.
He then opened the shop he had set up before and changed its na to [Naoki Ranch].
After that, Naoki uploaded so of the farm’s crops and ranch specialties.
Besides ordinary fruits, vegetables, and MooMoo Milk, he also put up limited Life Sheep Milk, and noted its effects in the description, hoping it could be a Helping Hand to Trainers and Pokemon in need.

So he typed in the four big characters for Dragonite Delivery and specified that once a purchase was made, a Dragonite would help deliver the goods to the custor’s hands.

He wasn’t planning on taking any of those delivery fees; he was going to pass them all on to the Dragonite, having Rotom take them into town so they could buy whatever they wanted to eat.
With everything ready, next it was ti to let the working Dragonite choose their Rotom partners.
But that might take a few days, because Naoki had previously given the Dragonite close to a week off.
However, plans can’t keep up with changes: Naoki gave the Dragonite a vacation, but the Dragonite had ideas of their own.
The next day, the heavy snow stopped, the sun ca out, and compared to the previous days the temperature was relatively mild.
Early in the morning, the working Dragonite, bored out of their minds on Dragonite Island, flew over to Naoki Ranch.
Seeing the group of Dragonite, Naoki was quite surprised. "What are you all doing here? Didn’t I say I was giving you a few days off?"
The working Dragonite all went "Awoo awoo" nonstop.
They all expressed that it was too boring on the island and they wanted to co to the ranch to work!
Naoki: "..." He had never seen such hardworking part-tirs.
His own Dragonite just watched these working Dragonite from the side, speechless.
Work, yeah right—what it saw was that these guys just wanted to co to the ranch to eat!
Naoki, though, didn’t think that far.
Since the Dragonite had co over today, he might as well take this chance to hand out the Rotom Phones.
At the mont, counting his own Dragonite, there were 12 Dragonite at the ranch.
Thinking of this, Naoki turned around and took out twelve Rotom Phones from the living room, then let them and the Dragonite get acquainted and pick the partner they liked.
Once all the Dragonite had chosen their Rotom partners, Naoki began introducing the functions of the Rotom Phone and their new assignnts.
The Dragonite listened half-understanding, staring blankly at the Rotom Phones floating in front of them.
Naoki said, "Simply put, starting today, I need you to help deliver the ranch’s goods to farther places."
He had already set up a complete workflow.
Once a custor bought sothing from his little shop, the Rotom Phone would automatically capture the custor’s information and send it to the Dragonite’s partner Rotom.
At that point, those partner Rotom would automatically use satellite maps to locate the custor’s position, then guide the Dragonite to set off for the destination and deliver the goods into the custor’s hands.
During the trip, if they ran into any problems while delivering, Rotom would automatically contact the ranch and relay the ssage to Naoki.
After hearing this detailed explanation, the Dragonite’s eyes lit up.
"Awoo awoo!" They got it!
No problem, leave it to them! The Dragonite happily thumped their chests, promising they would definitely get the job done.
Naoki nodded in satisfaction. "Then I’ll be counting on you!"
It was almost New Year; he planned to officially start operations next spring when the snow lted.
Naoki had the Dragonite stay at the ranch to get familiar with their partners first, while he headed to Porto Marinada Town to shop for New Year’s supplies for this year.
League calendar year 199 was his second year in this world.
