"Zhou Xiaozhou, co out!"
He Shancun’s voice in the hallway was loud, and Zhou Ning shrank his neck as Xu Dayuan grinned and poked at Zhou Ning’s arm.
"Here cos the man, aren’t you going to show your face?"
Zhou Ning gave him a cold look, pushed the door open, and waved at He Shancun. At that mont, He Shancun was carrying a dical kit with a male doctor following behind. Zhou Ning quickly waved his hand, placing a finger on his lips to signal He Shancun not to shout.
"Hurry over, let’s talk inside."
He Shancun swaggered over to Zhou Ning, with the male doctor in tow. Zhou Ning pulled them into the room, where Xu Dayuan was sitting without getting up and just waved as the n were pulled in.
"I didn’t say anything!"
Zhou Ning dragged the two n in front of the one-way mirror and pointed at the interrogation room inside:
"This person is Cui Guanglin."
He Shancun was taken aback and raised an eyebrow as if he had discovered so earth-shattering secret.
"Is this your would-be brother-in-law?"
"Ptooey, what ’would-be brother-in-law’?"
Zhou Ning lowered his voice and talked about the events of the past two days.
He also hinted that this person might be the killer in the Red Dress Serial Murder case, which left He Shancun in shock, with his mouth agape for a long while.

He Shancun kept on lanting and then continued to speak.

Zhou Ning nodded. That was exactly how he felt at the mont. Just then, the door to the next-door interrogation room opened, and the police officer who had taken over for He Chunyang stopped talking.
Xu Dayuan walked in with Mr. and Mrs. Cui. Cui Guanglin, who was handcuffed to a chair, had been staring indifferently at the floor by the door, but when he saw the newcors, he tensed up, struggled forcefully for a mont, and glared viciously at Xu Dayuan.

Mr. Cui, supporting Mrs. Cui, looked at Cui Guanglin and sighed.

Cui Guanglin’s mouth twitched, followed by a loud, mocking laugh.

The last three words, Cui Guanglin roared out, the veins in his neck popping, his anger palpable. Xu Dayuan waved his hand.
"Let’s go, take Cui Guanglin’s parents to the room opposite to make a statent. Call the doctor over to give him a full body examination. Mr. Liu, unlock one of the suspect’s handcuffs so he can help the doctor undress him later."
Xu Dayuan didn’t even give Cui Guanglin a glance as he spoke and began to leave. Mr. and Mrs. Cui had already reached the door, their figures looking extrely hunched.

Zhou Ning stood up and patted He Shancun’s arm.
"It’s your turn now. Xu Da will go in with you. If I go in later for an examination or to take photos, it will give him an excuse to get out of it in court, especially with Xiaoyu’s connection. Everything else, I’m counting on you."
He Shancun stood up, no longer dissatisfied, and put down the report, but his words were still sharp.

The doctor who ca with He Shancun covered their mouth and chuckled at the side. The two had a friendship that seed almost teasing, but it was clear there was mutual admiration.
"It must be cool to be a forensic doctor, why didn’t I think of applying for that?"
He Shancun glanced at the person.
"Forget it; their job is even harder than ours when it cos to finding a partner. Many people find the profession interesting, full of mystery, but for settling down in life, who would choose that? I certainly wouldn’t agree if I had a daughter!"
"Alright, Mr. He, you’re still single," soone interjected.
"Cut it out, don’t bring into this. Am I the sa? I’m all alone, I don’t have anything, my head’s worked to the bone in the ergency departnt, and I don’t have ti to worry about papers or assessnts, let alone think about these things."
Zhou Ning was stunned. He Shancun was seven years his senior, so having the ability to be the head of the ergency departnt was no surprise, but Zhou hadn’t expected that he would still be single. It seed he was a man with a story.
As he pondered this, the door to the next interrogation room was pushed open. The driver from the ambulance pushed the stretcher in, and Mr. Zhao accompanied him. Seeing this, Xu Dayuan paused for a mont, looking at Mr. Zhao with a puzzled expression. Mr. Zhao hurriedly pointed at the glass window.
"Zhou Xiaozhou said it would be more convenient to examine on this."
Zhou Ning was surprised, not knowing why Mr. Zhao had co back.
There was no need to ask, as Mr. Zhao had already rushed over, drunk a large glass of water, and explained:
