Zhou Ning nodded, and Mr. Zhao ca over.
"I know Mr. Peng well. He really wants to establish such an award and is truly grateful to us for catching the real culprit who hard his son, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter. Now that his wish has been fulfilled, I guess he and his wife won’t be living in this city anymore. I heard they bought a house in Hainan and are planning to move there."
The room fell silent. For the elderly couple, this city was a place of sorrow. Fulfilling their wish and moving sowhere else could be a good thing.

Zhou Ning nodded. This outco was actually pretty good.

"Great, then we’ll leave at nine and see you in a bit."
After hanging up, Zhou Ning received a call from Mr. Peng, which made him a bit puzzled. He accidentally answered on speakerphone.

His second aunt clapped her hands in satisfaction and smiled at He Shancun.
"That’s my capable son-in-law. Alright, help this brat load the car so he can leave early. He shouldn’t be too late for the noon appointnt. He needs to have a chat with his future father-in-law and perhaps play a ga of chess. But Xiao Ning, don’t be as rciless as when you play with your grandfather. Even if you let him win, don’t make it so obvious. Learn from Shancun and be good at flattering."
The old man also joined in, spinning two marble balls in his right hand and taking a sip of tea with his left, nodding in approval.
"Listen to your second aunt. Shancun is really better than you in this regard."
Zhou Ning was sowhat speechless and raised his hands in surrender.
