Zhi’er humd contentedly, "I told you so!"
She grabbed so chopsticks and placed them in Feng Fuce’s hand.
"Brother Fuce, even though you’re not an adult, you have to eat well, or you might not grow tall!"
Feng Fuce held the chopsticks, his cold eyebrows furrowing.
Let him eat by himself?
The food lost its appeal instantly.
He was about to co up with an excuse to have Zhi’er feed him one more bite.
But who knew, the little one had already turned around to return to her seat.
However, as she suddenly turned, she didn’t expect soone to pass by!
The sauce from the spoon in her hand instantly sared onto the person.
"My clothes!" The person was a rough-looking wealthy rchant, glaring at the conspicuous stain on his sleeve and then at Zhi’er.
The little one knew she had done sothing wrong.
She put down the spoon and blinked her innocent eyes, "Uncle, I’m sorry, I didn’t see you. I’ll compensate you for the clothes!"
Fourth Brother said if you break soone else’s things, you have to pay Money.
She reached out to her little wallet to get so money.
However, the man grabbed Zhi’er’s tiny wrist.
Almost lifting her petite body off the ground.
"Compensation? I am about to et officials and nobles, and you’ve ruined my clothes, disrupted my schedule, and wasted my ti!"
"How much can you possibly compensate? I hate kids like you, always causing trouble!"
The man’s voice was so loud that the surrounding guests began to look.
The waiter ca rushing over, trying to diate, "Sir, please calm down, she’s just a child, you..."
The waiter didn’t even finish speaking before the man slapped him aside with a "smack!"
"If you do sothing wrong, you need a beating, even if you’re a child!"
He glared ferociously at Zhi’er.
The little one’s eyebrows furrowed, her round white face showing discomfort.
"Uncle, you’re hurting ."
She kicked her little legs, trying to get down.
But the man seed to get even more aggressive, as if he was bullying her because no adults were around her.
"You must not have been properly disciplined at ho, today I’ll teach you a lesson for your parents!"
The surrounding guests started speaking up—
"Is this really necessary? She’s just a child."
"Yeah, she didn’t do it on purpose, why are you being so unforgiving!"
Soone who knew whispered, "Stop talking, that’s Minister ng’s brother-in-law! Very wealthy, we can’t afford to offend him."
With that said, there were fewer people speaking up for Zhi’er.
Feng Fuce remained seated in his spot.
He held a teacup, his gaze indifferent.
He thought, if he ignored this, given Bai Xilie’s personality, this place would beco a bloodbath.
So many people would die, and he could absorb more mana.
But...
He was clearly irritated.
Beside him, Zhi’er decided to give the man one last chance.
She said pitifully, "Uncle, my wrist hurts, let down!"
Saying this, she kicked her little feet again.
However, the man ignored her, seemingly wanting to vent all his anger on Zhi’er.
He raised his hand, intending to strike her delicate face.
Suddenly, a slender hand grabbed his wrist!
The man, full of anger, turned his head to see the one stopping him was the young boy at the sa table with the little girl.
"Do you want to be beaten too?"
Feng Fuce’s cold eyes didn’t bother with words.
In almost an instant, he punched!
Directly hitting the man’s nose, who, in pain, let go and stumbled backward, crashing into a table and breaking it!
