Bai Zhi’er was busy for a while and suddenly rembered Feng Fuce.
She looked around but didn’t see his figure.
The little one ran over to Chu Ping and asked, "Where did Brother Fu Ce go?"
"The Marquis..." Chu Ping pondered his words.
He couldn’t just say that the Marquis was chased away, that would be too embarrassing for him!
Chu Ping thought for a while and replied with a smile, "The Marquis had sothing to deal with."
Bai Zhi’er’s small face imdiately showed a hint of disappointnt.
"Why did Brother Fu Ce leave without telling ? I wanted to invite him to Ruizhu Palace for buns after I finished my work!"
Saying this, the little one sighed softly.
"Well, Brother Chu Ping can take so buns back for him later!"
Chu Ping nodded imdiately, "I comply!"
At this mont, Qingi handed over a cup of fruit tea.
Chu Ping was surprised and his eyes sparkled incredulously, "Xiao i? This, is it for ?"
Qingi looked at him in surprise, "Why are you so surprised? I wouldn’t be stingy and not give you a cup of tea. You’ve been standing here for a while, drink a bit to moisten your throat."
Chu Ping accepted it at once, finished it in one gulp, and comnted, "So sweet."
Not long after.
Chu Ping caught sight of Feng Fuce’s figure reappearing at the garden’s entrance.
He quickly put down the teacup and called out happily, "The Marquis is back from his work?"
Bai Zhi’er was watching her honeydew vine, and upon hearing this, she turned around.
The little one watched as Feng Fuce walked inside from the garden’s entrance.
He was followed by two Xiu Luo Envoys, who were pushing soone.
Bai Zhi’er ran over and laughed, "It’s the little brother who can wiggle!"
The boy who had a foot injury before was now almost recovered.
Upon hearing Bai Zhi’er’s words, he angrily retorted, "I wasn’t wiggling!"
Feng Fuce tilted his chin at Bai Zhi’er and said, "His foot is almost healed, so I brought him here for you to see."
He looked around, "But there are things planted all over this garden. If he is unsteady and falls, he might crush the seedlings, which would be counterproductive."
"Shall we go outside the garden?" Feng Fuce raised an eyebrow, asking the little one.
Bai Zhi’er nodded repeatedly, "Sure!"
She proactively stretched out a small hand and took Feng Fuce’s fingertip.
A subtle smile ford on the young man’s lips.
He led Bai Zhi’er out of the Cherry Garden, and the two Xiu Luo Envoys also took the boy away.
Chu Ping watched in slight amazent.
"The Marquis is truly impressive, taking the prisoner out for a walk just to gain attention."
Qingi didn’t catch his muttering and asked puzzled, "What?"
Chu Ping quickly said, "Nothing!"
Having reached outside the garden, Feng Fuce kept holding Bai Zhi’er’s hand and said to the boy, "Walk a few steps to show the Princess."
The boy clenched his fists and angrily said, "Are you two crazy? I was sleeping just fine, but you insisted on dragging out to walk. Haven’t you seen people walking before?!"
Bai Zhi’er fluttered her long lashes and spoke in a soft, childish voice, "Wow! Your voice now has more energy than last ti!"
Feng Fuce gazed coldly at the boy and gave a one-word command, "Walk."
The boy gritted his teeth and clenched his fists.
Why are these two so interested in his legs and feet!
Since Feng Fuce still had control over his freedom.
The boy had to compromise.
The Xiu Luo Envoys let him go, and he slowly walked forward.
Bai Zhi’er saw that the injury on his foot was indeed almost healed.
As he walked, there didn’t seem to be any abnormalities.
The little one sweetly smiled, "You’ve healed completely, I’m really happy for you."
