Bai Zhi’er walked silently on the palace road with her small steps.
Qingi led a large group of palace servants following behind.
Until the little one stopped by the big tree at Qinxin Lake.
Then, to Qingi’s surprise, Bai Zhi’er reached out her small hand, grabbed the trunk, and climbed up, huffing and puffing.
"Hey! Princess!" Qingi hurriedly gathered around, afraid that Bai Zhi’er would fall.
Who would have thought, the little one was quite nimble, and in no ti, she sat on the tree trunk.
Bai Zhi’er wiped her forehead with her small hand: "Phew~"
She looked around: "The scenery here is indeed nice."
The view was wide, and even her mood improved.
The little one looked down and saw that Qingi’s eyes were full of startled concern.
She couldn’t help but smile sweetly: "Sister Qingi, don’t worry, Zhi’er won’t fall down."
She was skilled at climbing trees.
Previously, living in her mother’s Heavenly Palace, she often climbed the Xiangsi Tree to look far away.
It always frightened Sister A Ruo into yelling.
Seeing Bai Zhi’er holding on steadily, Qingi felt at ease and stepped back a little.
Bai Zhi’er squinted her big eyes, feeling the warm sunlight on her face.
She didn’t know how much ti had passed.
Bai Zhi’er heard a sound of steady footsteps stopping near the big tree.
The sound of Qingi greeting ca: "Greetings, Marquis."
The little one imdiately turned her head and saw Feng Fuce standing in the light in a cold black robe.
His long eyes slightly narrowed, looking at her: "What are you doing up in the tree?"
Bai Zhi’er bead joyfully, her big eyes full of delight: "Brother Fu Ce! You’re back! I’m enjoying the scenery!"
Feng Fuce waved his hand, and the Xiu Luo Envoy and Qingi stepped back a little, and he approached alone.
"How can you enjoy the scenery in a tree, are you stuck up there?" Feng Fuce raised an eyebrow and sneered.
Then he stretched out his arms: "Jump down, I’ll catch you."
The little one shook her head, her chubby little cheeks quivering.
"I don’t want to go, I want to see if I can spot my mother from here."
Feng Fuce’s handso and cold brows furrowed deeply.
Bai Zhi’er lifted her head, looking at the sky, her small hand resting on the trunk.
"At the villa, Bai Wang was like this, sitting in a tree, and his mother Aunt Qiao would rush out to tell him it was dangerous."
"Zhi’er also wants to try, Brother Fu Ce, do you think my mother would suddenly co out and tell that doing this is wrong?"
Feng Fuce’s eyes were dark as ink, not even light could penetrate.
From his angle, he could see Bai Zhi’er’s profile, soft and pink, like a cloud ready to be bitten into.
"What you an by wrong, it’s not about climbing the tree, is it?" Feng Fuce raised his voice to inquire.
Bai Zhi’er pouted, turning her head, her eyes bright and full of complaint: "Nothing slips past you, does it!"
The little one looked down at him: "Just now, I used a naughty trick to drive away a bad father and daughter."
"I don’t know if it was right, because one of them was an old man. My mother always taught to respect the elderly and care for the young, and to protect everyone under the sky."
"Master also said that as a Princess, Zhi’er should have responsibility, tolerance, and magnanimity."
Bai Zhi’er’s soft voice sounded sowhat dejected.
"Brother Fu Ce, do you think I was wrong, maybe I could have used another way to get them to leave."
Feng Fuce’s expression was inscrutable, he slightly raised an eyebrow: "Do you want to hear the truth?"
"I do."
"Then jump into my arms, and I’ll tell you."
He opened his arms towards her once more.
