A few villagers exchanged glances, all feeling puzzled.
"It’s not Qingming, nor is it the Hanyi Festival. Why is he going to visit the graves at this ti?"
Mole looked around and lowered his voice: "I saw him and went up to greet him."
"Who knows, Old Man Gao looked terrible and said he had a nightmare last night, dreaming that his father ca back to beat him!"
The villagers were surprised: "Why beat him?"
Mole sighed: "He said it was because he didn’t look after that piece of land!"
The villagers fell into a knowing silence.
Thinking about it, what passed by last night could very well be the soul of Old Man Gao’s father?
Everyone thought about it and found it quite possible.
After all, that large piece of land had been occupied by the village chief’s son and daughter-in-law for decades, wouldn’t you be furious too?

Not long after.
A modestly luxurious carriage stopped at the village entrance.
Bai Zhi’er led Feng Fuce down from the carriage.
She pointed her little finger at the village: "Brother Fu Ce, it’s here!"
Feng Fuce glanced at the village with his indifferent eyes.
His thin lips moved slightly: "You wanted a bear paw from just to thank a villager here?"
Bai Zhi’er nodded her little head repeatedly.

After speaking, the little one took out the ginseng she dug up yesterday from her pouch.

At dawn, soone heard Mole shouting outside—
"It’s terrible, co out and see, the whole field has been flattened! Whose land is this? It’s tragic!"
The villagers hurriedly put on their clothes and rushed out to check.
Everyone ran to the fields, took a look, and said, "Isn’t this the village chief’s land?"
The field that was once filled with crops was now bare, without even a blade of grass left.
Such a large piece of land, cleaned out overnight.
If it’s said not to be done by ghosts, no one would believe it!
