When Lu Wang arrived at the Immortal Palace, most of the immortals had already left.
The Heavenly Dao needed rest and recuperation, so the Heavenly Soldiers and Generals surrounded the Immortal Palace, not allowing any unauthorized personnel to approach.
Lu Wang had only taken a few steps before being stopped by a Heavenly Soldier.
"Immortal Lord, my apologies, but Your Majesty is not available to receive visitors at this ti, please return," the Heavenly Soldier said solemnly.
Lu Wang glanced inside, puzzled.
The Xiangsi Tree remained flourishing, yet Aruo was nowhere in sight.
Having nothing appropriate to ask, Lu Wang had no choice but to turn and leave.
On the way, he ran into a Little Immortal Guard he had always known.
Lu Wang quickly pulled him aside to inquire about the details.
"Ah, what’s the reason? My master said that the Heavenly Daoist erred when insisting on giving birth to the Emperor."
"The Emperor? Wasn’t the Emperor sent away?" Lu Wang asked, sowhat confused.
By the ti he arrived at the Heavenly Court, the Emperor was no longer in the Heavenly Palace.
It was said that she was sent away by the Heavenly Dao for training, but exactly where, as an Immortal Lord of his rank was not privy to such information.
The Little Immortal Guard glanced around, lowered his voice and said, "Indeed, she was sent away, sent to her birth father—a re mortal."
A mortal?

"Aruo..." she called out.
Aruo, with eyes reddened from who knows how many tis crying, was beside her.
"Your Majesty, Aruo is here." She hastily kneeled forward, holding Jing Jia’s hand.
Jing Jia looked at her: "I have two tasks for you, you must rember them."
Aruo nodded repeatedly, wiping her tears: "Please say, Your Majesty."
"First, go to the mortal world and find Zhi’er, warn her to be cautious of those around her, the Demon-locking Tower has been repeatedly loosened, I suspect there are those from the Demon World within the Heavenly Palace."
