The dozen or so Star Lords raised their hands in unison, all showing surprise: "What?"

After a mont, the little one turned and looked at the Star Lords.
"Alright, it’s a deal. Once I complete a hundred deeds of rit, I will return to inherit the Heavenly Dao, and the human world shall serve as the term for ten years."
"Before that, none of you are allowed to visit my mother’s residence and disturb her peaceful recovery."
"If after ten years, I still haven’t completed the rits, then I am willing to surrender the Divine Stone and yield the Heavenly Dao Position."
A ruo hurriedly called out: "Your Majesty..."
Zhi’er raised her hand, indicating she didn’t need to say more.
The little one had a determined gaze, with her own ideas firmly in place.
The Star Lords exchanged glances, and after a long while, they all nodded.
After they left.
Zhi’er walked under the Xiangsi Tree.
She looked at the swaying blossoms, their branches flourishing, extending down to the ground.
These were all her father’s yearnings.
A ruo spoke from behind her, her tone mournful: "Your Majesty cos here to admire the flowers every day. Since she fell ill, the Xiangsi Tree seems to have lost so of its color, no longer as beautiful."
Zhi’er turned her face away. Though her eyes reddened, she told herself not to cry anymore.
"It’s alright, Sister A Ruo," the little one mustered a smile: "Everything will be fine. Leave it to Zhi’er!"
"I’ve already talked with Brother Fu Ce; the Demon World will no longer cause trouble, and we will coexist peacefully."
A ruo was startled: "Your Majesty, that is the Demon Lord, known for being bloodthirsty and ruthless. How can you believe his words!"
But Zhi’er smiled: "I trust him. Mother once said that if soone stays by your side for a very long ti and you feel he’s a good person, then he’s worthy of your trust."
