Bai Zhi’er was just about to refuse.
Suddenly, a cool voice ca from behind them.
"Are you done with your work?"
Feng Fuce’s long eyebrows cast a shadow over his cold eyes.
He stepped forward and stood between Jun Kuang and Bai Zhi’er.
Bai Zhi’er shook her hand and smiled, "Just finished. Why did you co to pick up so early?"
The two had agreed that there was sothing important to do tonight!
Feng Fuce’s thin lips parted slightly, "The Xiuluo Guard has nothing going on, so I ca to find you first."
After speaking, he glanced sideways at Jun Kuang behind him, his eyes cool and deep.
This glance made Jun Kuang feel as if Feng Fuce was silently warning him of sothing.
Jun Kuang smiled helplessly.
He cupped his hands and said to Bai Zhi’er, "Your Highness, since the Marquis is here, I shall take my leave. If the Princess has any more instructions, you can send soone to find ."
Bai Zhi’er smiled sweetly and nodded, "Okay, Brother A Kuang, rember to remind them to apply the dicine on ti."
Jun Kuang nodded lightly in return. He turned and left, his silhouette handso like a gentle breeze.
Watching him leave, Bai Zhi’er finally withdrew her gaze.
Unexpectedly, she t Feng Fuce’s cold eyes.
The girl tilted her head, "Why are you looking at like that?"
Feng Fuce raised an eyebrow slightly, "I was thinking, what did he do to make you smile so brightly."
Bai Zhi’er was taken aback, "I didn’t! I greet everyone with a smile!"
Feng Fuce let out a low snort.
If he hadn’t arrived just in ti, Jun Kuang’s handkerchief might have already been in Bai Zhi’er’s hand.
Fortunately, Feng Fuce didn’t take Jun Kuang seriously.
The two of them left Fengchao Mansion together.
After Bai Zhi’er’s carriage had gone far, Jun Kuang erged from the corner.
His usual gentle and elegant gaze now appeared dark and complex.
So sealed mories, like an overturned inkbox, stained his eyes.
"Bai Zhi’er..." Jun Kuang murmured softly.
She looked completely different from how she was in his dreams, and her personality had changed too.
Jun Kuang’s deep eyes carried a hint of confusion.

Bai Zhi’er was enjoying the pastries Feng Fuce brought, eating with great pleasure.
She looked up, her eyes sparkling, and asked, "You’re saying we can take Third Aunt to the Nanfeng Pavilion tonight?"
Feng Fuce wiped the crumbs from her lips with his thumb.
He rubbed them lightly between his fingers.
His voice was equally lazy and deep, "Yes, I’ve arranged everything. Now we’ll pick up Lady Yang Shan and go straight to Nanfeng Pavilion."
When Bai Zhi’er heard him ntion Lady Yang Shan, she didn’t react at first.
It took a two-second pause for her to rember that her Third Aunt’s title was now Lady Yang Shan.
Bai Zhi’er put down the plate, a bit dejectedly cupping her small face.
"Alas~" she sighed lightly, "Fourth Brother and the others said Third Aunt has been quite lancholy lately."
"It’s all Third Uncle’s fault! Idly believing the words of an outside woman and feeling responsible for soone else."
Feng Fuce thought for a mont and said slowly, "There’s sothing I find a bit strange."
"What is it?" Bai Zhi’er looked at him, blinking her long lashes.
"I rember that although Prince Kang has many concubines, each one who entered his mansion was made to drink the infertility soup."
Bai Zhi’er nodded, "That’s right."
Feng Fuce raised an eyebrow, "So, Prince Kang isn’t exactly a morally upstanding person. At the very least, he felt no guilt when depriving over a dozen won of their ability to reproduce."
"How can such a person feel responsible when Mu Rou claid she was pregnant?"
"With Prince Kang’s typical personality and thods, wouldn’t forcing Mu Rou to have an abortion be more in line with his previous actions?"
