The agonizing process lasted for a five minutes before it slowly began to settle down...
"Hah... hah... that was hell... for sure." Quinn gasped for air as if it were his first ti breathing in minutes. He had almost forgotten to breathe entirely as the pain consud his entire mind.
"ARGHH!!! It stinks! What kind of foul, disgusting sll is this??" Quinn pinched his nose as the unbearable odor entered his nostrils.
It slled much worse compared to the scent from his previous cell... he felt like puking, but because of the lingering pain racking his entire body, he forcefully swallowed it down.
Then... Quinn looked at his surroundings and saw a massive pool of black matter!
It was solidified blood mixed with a disgusting, tar-like sludge.
’Is... this my impurities?..’ What he saw filled him with utter dread.
A radius of almost five ters from his current position was literally filled with black matter, while ten ters out was completely stained with blood... not just normal blood, but a black, darker fluid that was almost entirely solidified.
’Phew... thankfully they won’t be seeing this.’ Quinn sighed in relief because the three won weren’t around to witness the scene.
It felt incredibly weird... but he absolutely did not want to show off this huge amount of purged impurities! Perhaps it was just his ego as a man... or maybe the scene was just too hard to stomach.
"Purple Fiery Fire," Quinn mumbled, and a purple fla erged from his shaking hands. He was incredibly grateful that he possessed a vitality-based skill; the fast regeneration was working overti to keep his body moving. If not for that... he might have truly died from the sheer blood loss.
The fire crawled forward like a living being, rapidly consuming the black matter in plain sight. Although it really hurt, Quinn forcefully gritted his teeth just to burn the impurities away.
A few minutes passed, and everything looked much better compared to before. Though a faint sll still lingered, it was at least manageable.
"Hahh... I really hate this. My decision not to ask for help turned into a man sitting in his own shit." He still recalled the amazing control Alice had displayed before... her body had been engulfed in flas, and the released impurities had simply vanished into thin air.
Well... it wasn’t really possible to ask for help anyway, considering the three of them couldn’t even lift a single finger right now!
As for his desperate cries... they hadn’t reached the bedroom, as he had locked his thoughts down to avoid causing too much commotion but who would have thought that the pain would be so freaking agonizing!
He already knew that so pain would occur, but at that level of intensity? Hell no!
That was ant for a total masochist to enjoy, and he was definitely not into that kind of thing!
’I can just clean up this ss... but before that, let’s see the size of my core!’ He was excited, filled with even more anticipation for the improvents as he prepared to enter his consciousness again.
Still... his body felt so light that he believed he could easily jump nearly 50 ters into the air without putting any real effort into it... while his mind felt much more open, as if he could think at lightning speed and process multiple complex plans ahead of ti and most importantly, the new power coursing through his body felt entirely unrestrained, ready to crumble anything standing in its way.
It was a completely new feeling for him.
Then he entered back into his consciousness... expecting sothing great.
Quinn turned into a frozen statue... standing completely motionless as he looked at the massive ball of pure white light! No, he wasn’t even seeing the core itself yet, but rather the sheer brightness it radiated.
It was truly blinding now, to the point that he needed to focus his full attention just to discern its actual size... but his expectation of seeing it rely double in size was shattered completely!
His core was now an approximately 300-diater-wide sphere! He couldn’t fathom how his core had jumped from a 120 diater...or 60 radius, into a whopping 300 diater! He had expected to get a 240 diater at best, but this was more than he could have ever hoped for! It had grown massively bigger!..
’What... how am I supposed to fill a size like this?!’ He realized the crazy hurdle he was facing... it was truly a massive problem because the scale was so freaking huge that he didn’t know if he could even fill it within a few months!
The sun-like core floated proudly... as the smaller companion cores orbited around it. It was clear now that his core had undergone a massive, tier-defying upgrade!
"Hehe... though the boost I got was really sothing!.. Imagine having my stats hit the 1600s!" He was absolutely certain now! He would finally be able to see the description of the freaking Nekoball!
"What... a view." The scene inside his consciousness could truly make any living being stand agape.
Just like before, even though it was incredibly bright... it felt liberating as he basked in its glorious appearance. He didn’t want to brag, but he was absolutely sure that he was the strongest among his tier!

"Whoahh.... so it’s really unlocked!" Quinn looked at the text present in front of him with a grand sense of celebration, complete with digital fireworks and other flashy visual effects dancing across the screen! It celebrated the newly unlocked Shop feature in his system!
"I don’t think I need to wait, let’s get this over with!" He tapped the shop, and what was presented to him were the shop categories.

The scene presented to him was standard... it looked more or less like a ga shop that could be seen in most RPGs... where weapons, armor, accessories, skills, and many other items were properly organized, though most were currently obscured or grayed out, likely locked because he was still a lower-tier rank.
