A resource company cannot be accused lightly, especially when the Southern Island’s military system still relies on the resources provided by the Essence Feast to complete the war. Every step must be extrely cautious.
"Mr. Fang Yu, this is the office of our Market Director, Chang Dong."
At this mont, two security guards stopped walking, turned their heads, and smiled as they spoke to Fang Yu.
"Chang Dong? Isn’t your Market Director nad Li Min?"

The two looked puzzled and then shook their heads: "We’ve never heard of anyone nad Li Min. Since we joined the company, Director Chang Dong has been the Market Director."
Fang Yu observed the expressions on their faces and saw that their confusion didn’t seem to be feigned. He nodded slightly without saying much.
The two quickly knocked on the office door, announced their intentions, and soon invited Fang Yu inside.
Fang Yu stepped forward, still remaining cautious. His gaze quickly shifted to the man sitting behind the desk—a man who appeared sharp and upright, dressed in a well-fitted suit that imdiately gave a professional and competent impression.
Completely different from the crafty and ruthless "Director Li Min" whom Fang Yu had t before.
Witnessing this scene, Fang Yu felt a bit of doubt.
Could it be that he wrongly accused Essence Feast?

Upon hearing Fang Yu’s words, Chang Dong showed a troubled and embarrassed expression: "Well... to be honest, Colonel Fang Yu, when our boss left, Lanyun Sea Country hadn’t shown any signs of war, so he was unaware."
"Moreover, the sea country our boss went to is quite far from Nanhui City, making it difficult for regular communication thods to reach him. I’ve already sent soone to the area where our boss is to notify him of this matter."
"But... the round trip will take at least five days, so Colonel Fang Yu might need to wait a few days..."
Chang Dong’s face showed deep apology: "The level of the frontline resource procurent contract is too high. Even as the Market Director, I don’t have the authority to sign such a high-level contract, my apologies!"
