In those turbid, decaying eyes, little brilliance flowed, as his gaze slowly fell upon Fang Yu.
Upon seeing Fang Yu clearly, a hint of surprise flashed in the old man’s eyes.

Hearing the square-faced officer’s words, everyone was puzzled.
But in the military district, strict discipline prevailed. When a superior officer spoke, no one was allowed any other opinions.
Despite their confusion, everyone retreated, leaving the square-faced officer thoughtfully gazing into the distant night.
