As dusk fell, Liu Zhizhong's car reached a secluded area of Shennong Grand Canyon with hardly any signs of cars or people.
The Shennong Grand Canyon was vast, covering nearly 60 kiloters in total.
There were only two main entrances to the scenic area, the Northern Gate and the Southern Gate.
It was difficult to access the area from other places due to the high mountains acting as barriers, and it was nearly impossible to climb through. There were people who had climbed for three days and nights to evade the ticket fee, but it was hardly worth it.
Generally speaking, all the remote entrances were guarded by scenic area managent, making them difficult to access.
However, there wasn't just one river in the area, the Shennong River; it was the largest, but there were also smaller tributaries.
Liu Zhizhong had already planned his strategy using satellite maps. He picked out three locations that were most likely to have abundant fish and used the small paths in the scenic area to search for them.
These small streams were also popular with local Fishern. After all, there were so villages within the scenic area. Naturally, the villagers were those who worked and lived there, running shops, farm stays, and so on.
Therefore, the roads leading to these streams were a mix of dirt and cent, and Liu Zhizhong opted for the secluded dirt roads.
Cent roads were easy for vehicles to traverse, increasing the likelihood of Fishern driving to them. Dirt roads, on the other hand, were suitable for certain good off-road vehicles and motorcycles, but were not suitable for most cars or ordinary SUVs.
But for Liu Zhizhong's Big Lao, the dirt roads were like flat ground. Lu Yui sat in the passenger seat, not feeling the bumps at all, still very much enjoying the ride.
The Big Lao was broad, its chassis armored. When occasionally encountering another vehicle, it simply rolled over onto the roadside's small woods, grasslands, or small ditches to pass successfully, often leaving the other drivers dumbfounded. Such an imposing car, they had never seen before—it was truly convenient!
The mainstream parts of the scenic area had the beauty of the mainstream. But these secluded places, whether the cliffs or the trees and flowers, had a charm of their own.
In these secluded spots, the splendor of nature was still a brilliant canvas, with the natural breeze remaining refreshing and pleasurable.
Liu Zhizhong had already checked two of the selected fishing spots. Both had fairly accessible dirt roads and were often frequented by others, making them not ideal for setting up camp, so he abandoned them, pinning his hopes on the last fishing spot.
After careful analysis, he concluded that the last spot might indeed have never been visited before, so he drove his car down a small branch off the dirt path.
The glorious sunset illuminated the side of a massive cliff that soared into the sky like an open fan, next to a small river and grassy riverbank. The majestic face of the cliff, vibrant and luminous, took Lu Yui's breath away, causing her to cry out in surprise.
She even asked Liu Zhizhong to stop the car so she could take pictures, as the scene was just too enchanting.
Lu Yui even urged Liu Zhizhong to na the photograph!
Liu Zhizhong quickly declared, "Rainbow Peach Blossom Cliff, the cliff a fan of peach blossoms, yet beneath the fan, no blossoms grow. Year after year, Yueyue waits for the peach blossoms, but when they don't co, people co themselves. Below the cliff, the beauty rivals the peach blossoms!"
Lu Yui burst into laughter, "Your mouth! I asked you to na this cliff, not to compose poetry!"
"But with such a scene, how could I help but recite a poem!"
"Hehe... naughty boy, you recite such lovely poetry," she chuckled.
Liu Zhizhong laughed happily, but looking at the evening glow in the sky, then at the road ahead, he said, "We need to hurry to the last spot, set up camp sooner. Based on the weather and those clouds, it looks like there's going to be heavy rain."
