It was like watching a tiny milk rat stand on two feet and squeak angrily at a giant lion for not taking care of himself.

He only clicked his tongue inside and watched with narrowed eyes, like a fox lying in the grass and glaring at another beast that had wandered too close to his food.
anwhile, Hu Baiyu kept looking at Lin Huahua. He felt that his little Huahua had changed so much. In the past he rembered how much she had always neglected him. But now she was actually so attentive and worried about him too.
How could he not be happy about this sudden change, even though he felt like it wouldn’t last. He decided to cherish the mont for as long as it lasted.

She stared at him.
Hu Baiyu looked back at her, quiet and happy.

Then she pointed at him in disbelief.
"I am scolding you," she said, her voice full of confusion. "Why are you smiling?"
Hu Baiyu’s shoulders moved slightly.
He looked as if he was holding back laughter.
That made Lin Huahua even more shocked.

What was wrong with him?
She had worked so hard to gather her seriousness. She had even been using her strict tone. Why was he looking at her like she was doing sothing adorable instead of sothing scary?
Lin Huahua’s face imdiately turned red with embarrassnt.

At this mont, the hide curtain at the entrance was pushed aside.
Mu Qingyi stepped out.
Unlike Feng Yiren, who always looked like he had ten shaless thoughts in his head, Mu Qingyi gave people a calm feeling the mont he appeared. He had a gentle face, clean features, and a quiet kind of handsoness that made people feel at ease.
Because he was a stag beastman, his movents were naturally light and careful. Even the way he ca out from behind the curtain felt smooth, like he did not want to startle anyone.
The mont he saw Lin Huahua, his eyes softened with real happiness.
That happiness was not fake at all.
It was the kind that ca from seeing soone return safely after being out for many hours.
"You’re back," Mu Qingyi said warmly. "I have already cleaned everything and prepared things for you."
Under normal circumstances, Lin Huahua would definitely have turned to look proudly and ask what he had prepared.
Maybe food. Maybe water. Maybe bedding.
Maybe all of it.
But right now she was still stuck on one important matter.
She was trying to scold Hu Baiyu seriously.

So Lin Huahua did not care about the cleaned house or the prepared things for the mont.
She imdiately turned toward Mu Qingyi, put both hands on her hips, then lifted her head and stared at his tall figure.
Her expression was very serious.

"I told you to watch over him," Lin Huahua said, pointing at Hu Baiyu with a small accusing finger. "Why did you not watch over him?"
Mu Qingyi looked at her.
Then he blinked once, clearly confused.
