Kyren’s eyes lit up just then, a slight smirk on his face. "Really? I could’ve sworn I just did. Unless..."
The rogue king’s smirk turned into a darker grin as he adjusted his sitting position, deliberately sliding his still rock-hard length up Elian’s ass crack.
The latter gasped, his body shivering as his fingers latched tighter on Kyren’s shoulders.
"You want more, little fla?" Kyren growled low, his breath caressing Elian’s cheeks. "You aren’t tired of chasing the heat?"
Elian parted his lips to speak, torn between keeping his horniness in check and blinking at the system screen visible only to his eyes.
Yep... He wasn’t seeing that wrong.

"Elian?" Kyren tapped his shoulder, causing him to jolt, his breath hitching. "Why do you keep doing that?"
Elian blinked awkwardly, laughing nervously as his eyes flicked around. "Doing what?"
He tried getting off Kyren’s lap but the latter didn’t let him, holding him firmly on his lap.

"That thing where your eyes space out and you seem like you’re having a conversation with yourself or sothing," Kyren muttered, squinting. "It lasts for only a couple of seconds sotis. But other tis, like right now, it’s like you’re just lost in your mind."
Elian’s heart skipped a beat, his pulse quickening.
’See what your crazy ass mission has caused?’ he snapped ntally at the system.

Elian fumbled, closing his eyes to avoid eye contact with Kyren.
But then—
’I’m still here, little fla.’ Kyren managed to slip into his mind and whispered with a telepathic chuckle. ’Are you trying to hide from ?’
Elian hastily opened his eyes, shaking his head. "N–No! I’m... I didn’t an to space out."

Elian swallowed hard, looking Kyren dead in the eyes as his face beca sullen. "I... I was just wondering. It’s going to be so difficult making a choice between you, Lucian and Axel."

Kyren arched an eyebrow with genuine surprise. "You an your pets?"
Elian pouted his lips, a small sigh breaking through him. "They aren’t my... You know what? Whatever. The point is, I like each of you. Even Lucian, much to my annoyance."
At this point, Kyren finally loosened his grip on his waist, the look in his eyes telling Elian that he wanted to hear more.
"I opened up to you about one of the darkest parts of my childhood in the most cinematic way possible earlier today." Kyren blurted with a smirk, letting his arms relax on either side of the bathtub. "It’s only fair you’re more open to . At least, tell what’s bothering your mind."

Elian forced a smile at Kyren as he got off his lap, but instead of moving to the other side of the tub, he positioned himself in between his spread out legs.
He rested his head on Kyren’s firm chest, trying hard to ignore his hard length poking his back.
"That’s a dangerous position, little fla." Kyren purred with a warning tone.
But Elian rely raised his head, blinking at him with a smug smirk. "You should know my affinity for danger by now."
Kyren stared a bit longer before shaking his head with a smirk. He adjusted properly, the water splashing around them as he wrapped his arms around Elian’s body, making him feel small.
Elian flushed, sinking into the warmth of his strong arms before Kyren whispered into his ears.
"Now... Tell all about your worries."
Elian let himself smile before sniffling, his toes wiggling under the water.
"I was saying it’s going to be difficult choosing between you and my other mates." He began, his tone a bit shaky. "Especially now that Lucian has been requested to marry . And Axel?"
He paused, the System’s screen flashing before his eyes and showing Axel’s stats.

"I have a strong connection with Axel. Emotionally, anyway." Elian completed with a wry smile, rubbing Kyren’s hands gently. "I can’t handle the pressure, and it always seems like you three are revolving around . Like—"
"Annoying pets?" Kyren completed that sentence, even though those weren’t the words he was going for.
"I was going to say sexually starved moon hounds, but that works too." Elian chuckled, sighing heavily. "Honestly, I can’t help but get lost in my thoughts thinking about it. And thinking about why out of all the wolves in Lunaria and the Dark lands, the moon goddess chose to give three mates."
Elian’s eyes lowered, half focused on the bubbles floating on the water’s surface.
[Aww... How touching. You almost had fooled.]
Elian held himself from rolling his eyes.
But then—
"Sotis I forget how young you are," Kyren muttered, caressing his chest. "I’ve never had a partner so young... For obvious reasons."
Elian’s cheeks heated up violently at the reminder of the age disparity between him and his mates.
"I’m not going to use one of those ’you’re smart for your age’ lines... But for soone juggling so much, you’re resilient." Kyren remarked with what sounded like pride in his voice. "I’ve always known there was sothing special about you from the mont the mate bond ignited."
Elian adjusted, raising his head to look into those crimson orbs.
For the faintest second, he could’ve sworn he saw sothing... Warm.
"Whatever is coming next, be assured that I’ll be by your side through it all." Kyren finally breathed, surprisingly pressing a kiss on Elian’s forehead. "And I’m sure your other... Mates will do the sa."
Elian closed his eyes, allowing himself to sink into the warmth of Kyren’s arms, their hearts beating in sync.
Alas, peace seed to be a foreign language for him...
