Omega Ascension System[BL] Chapter 209: Get Soaked In Your Scent

Elian’s POV

"Hey," Lucian called his attention when his mind was about to trail off. "Eyes here, okay? You’re going to be okay."

Elian had his arms wrapped over the Alpha Prince’s shoulders while the latter had his hands placed firmly on either side of his waist.

The heat symptoms were still consuming Elian’s body so badly that he imagined getting grilled would be more soothing. But Lucian’s presence as they danced with the others helped ground him.

"You sure I’m going to be okay?" Elian grinned, his head ringing.

He slowly leaned his face so close to Lucian’s that he could almost taste his breath... Or was it sll his breath?

Whatever, the point is—

[Point is your second heat cycle is proving more intense than the first one. Proceed with caution. Your brain is currently more fogged up than a grandma on crack during bingo.]

Elian ignored the system, smiling broadly.

anwhile, Lucian’s brows furrowed. "Of course you’ll be okay. Aurora is going to be back with the pill anyti from now. We need to be close to you before that."

Elian’s eyes flicked through the crowd around them just then, searching for two faces in particular.

It didn’t take long to find them.

Standing just outside the dance floor were Kyren and Axel. The forr had his crimson eyes glued on Elian even from that distance. And as for the Beta, he waved when their eyes locked, his smile warm.

Elian suddenly felt like the most protected man in Lunaria. Scratch that, all of Evaros.

[All mates are within a 200-foot radius of you. So if shit does hit the proverbial fan, you can still defend yourself.]

Elian’s lips twitched into the faintest smirk.

He had unlocked Bond resonance with Lucian during these past twenty days. That gave him access to ten per cent of the Alpha Prince’s physical abilities and Alpha Prince Aura.

Sadly, he hadn’t had much ti to practice utilising the Alpha Prince and Beta’s powers as much as he had with Kyren’s.

But he could still pack one hell of a punch.

"Your scent..." Lucian’s voice brought him back to reality once again, soft. Almost reverent.

Elian’s lashes fluttered as their eyes locked. Those silver orbs glinted with the warst light as Lucian went on:

"Are you... Are you telling I hated this scent?" He sounded like he couldn’t believe it. "That I didn’t spend my days wanting nothing more than to get soaked in it? In you?"

Elian’s heart beat stuttered.

Gods above, the Alpha Prince’s romantic side never ceased to make him weak in the knees.

"You were a complicated man, Lucian." Elian chuckled, tilting his head slightly. "Yeah, you were biased against ogas like almost everyone else. But I believe deep down, when you found out I was your mate..."

His lips ghosted over the Alpha Prince’s, so close he could almost taste it. He craved that kiss so much right now, but he could feel Lucian’s restraint.

The Alpha Prince’s heart beat quickened. His fingers tightened on Elian’s waist as if he couldn’t even imagine letting go.

Elian didn’t want him to let go either.

"... You were afraid of how much you wanted . How much you craved ." Elian continued when his mind ca back on track.

He slid his right hand from Lucian’s neck and then a little down his chest, biting his bottom lip when he touched the skin beneath his shirt.

And Lucian?

He just let him go ahead with it, taking the lead in moving them around, following the beat of the music.

Elian’s hand finally settled on Lucian’s chest, his index finger poking gently. "Do you still feel that fear, Lucian? Fear of what people think? Fear of losing to Axel and Kyren?"

Lucian’s eyes flashed with so many emotions at once, his throat bobbing tensely. Elian wished he could peer into his mind.

[Well, damn. Would you look at that?]

A holographic screen suddenly flickered to life in front of Elian, flashing with numbers.

But then the numbers settled on one stat:

[A mix of your pheromones and charm Aura ability is acting like a stimulating drug in the Alpha Prince’s neural pathways. One that might be helping him get his mories back.]

[MATE #1 MORY RESTORATION: 20%... In progress.]

Elian blinked at the bar, watching as it pulsed faintly.

But before he could celebrate the little victory, Lucian’s voice rolled out in a soft growl.

"The only thing I feel right now is a need to be by your side. No matter what." Lucian’s eyes were certain.

Suddenly, he spun Elian around in one fluid movent, causing the latter to gasp. The Alpha Prince pressed Elian’s back against his chest. His right hand remained on his waist while his left held Elian’s chin possessively.

"You were there by my side while I recovered in the Dark Lands. Despite all these... Things I apparently did to you." Lucian’s warm breath hit Elian’s neck, sending shivers crawling down his spine.

Every cell, every nerve ending... They all scread with a burning need for the Alpha Prince. A need so great that Elian thought he’d combust.

"I don’t care how many n I have to share you with." Lucian went on, his teeth dangerously close to Elian’s neck. "You’ll still be mine. Always."

At that sa mont, the music finally died down and the people dancing around all stopped simultaneously.

Cheers and howls filled the event hall as the couples bowed to themselves.

Hesitantly, Lucian spun Elian around until they faced each other. The Alpha Prince gave a bow, a few beads of sweat dropping from his forehead as he did.

Sweat he definitely didn’t get from rely dancing.

Elian hastily bowed as well before people could glance at them judgntally.

When he and Lucian straightened their posture again, he noticed sothing. For the briefest second, recognition flickered in the Alpha Prince’s eyes.

And for once, Elian actually felt hope in helping him get his mories back before the system’s deadline.

But alongside that hope was a burning question that troubled his mind:

Would the Alpha Prince’s warmth disappear once he gets his full mories back?
