Omega Summoner Chapter 2308: Bringing the Accused



(High Wizard Dore POV)

I am what you call a High Wizard because I have mastered at least two elents to the highest degree. I can cast wind and water elental magic up to the Mythical Tier. The Transcendent tier is in the realm of demigods and gods which is why mortals like cannot cast it. Unless I ascend to a demigod then I will be trapped in the Mythical Tier forever.

This is also one of the reasons I accepted the job offer of the rchan Guild when they scouted . One might say that you only need talent in magic to beco a powerful wizard but that is a feeble dream. You need both talent and money in order to breakthrough the limits of magic. I rely accepted their offer as an honorary mber that will protect the rchant Guild in tis of trouble in exchange for things I need for my own research.

I was incredibly busy but the air in the rchant guild suddenly turned a bit different. So branch leaders were suddenly accused of embezzling funds when they know that the rchant guild is very heavy in punishnts when it cos to that. One of the accused is even the new branch leader in the mystical territory known as Avalon.

I investigated who accused Piggy Bank because I have seen him before and judged that he is the most honest rchant I saw except for the Grand rchant Leader of the rchant guild. He is not one to embezzle which is why I asked who accused him to see if it was slander. He is a very important mber of the rchant guild in my eyes as he is the only one that the demons are friendly to.

It takes a lot for demons to trust you which is why he is already an important figure in my eyes. To us wizards, demons are the peak form of magic as they can easily weave ti and space according to their wishes. They are the ones that we wizards should always achieve to be which is why suddenly accusing soone like Piggy Bank, that is friendly with demons, is not a step in the right direction.

There were already a lot of opposition when he beca a branch leader, but the upper echelon could only agree. The rchant guild building pact that ca from Avalon specifically stated that Piggy Bank must be the branch leader or else the deal will not co through. A lot of the upper echelon debated that the Lord of Avalon was demanding too much but the greed of rchants cannot be stopped by just that.

Piggy Bank rolled in and presented the likely items that can be traded by Avalon. High quality herbs, food, and even magic gems of high purity could be seen there. To add more honey to the pot, items from the world of Selvaggians and Forest Guardians are added to the mix since they trade with Avalon. All of these items are sothing that any rchant would want to sell and even keep as most of them are good for protection.

The most enticing item that the Lord of Avalon gave as a trade item are the incredibly precious Teleportation Scrolls. My mouth watered and my eyes bulged when I learned that this precious item is suddenly part of the trade goods. Although a limited supply is given, such an item is sothing that we can sell for a lot of money according to the rchants.

"Do not tell that this is a trap teleportation scroll?!" One of the upper echelons asked Piggy Bank back then.

"No. As you can see there, a mage can enter the coordinates, but the distance should not exceed the continent as this magic scroll is only for continental use. You can also tag a specific location as the landing point for ease of use like cities or towns." Piggy Bank stated which made all the upper echelons unanimously agree for him to beco a branch leader.

Back to the present, Piggy Bank was accused by a rather backwater mber of the upper echelon of the rchant guild. I was about to start investigating the old man when I suddenly learned that he dropped dead because of an assassination. What is even more shocking is the fact that Piggy Bank was blad for the assassination when his summons was just given about two days ago.

Who in their right mind would be able to confirm a hit with just two days? He did not even know who accused him which ant that he would have needed to hire soone to investigate first before hiring an assassin. Sothing is fishy from the auras of the other upper echelons as if they are being influenced by sothing.

This eerie feeling started to happen when that new youngster replaced his old father in the upper echelon board. I never liked him from the start which is why I avoided him. I can feel that sothing was odd from him, but he was a normal human when I checked using magic. Still, since a majority vote was cast to bring Piggy Bank, I told them to do it gently as he is only accused and not the perpetrator.

I almost flipped the table when a majority vote was given to have the knights arrest him. This would not have happened if the Grand rchant Leader was here, but he is in the western continent easing the tension in that branch. It seems that so suspicious individuals were escorted using our ships that sail to the western continent and those individuals' destroyed temples.

Seeing that I cannot stop them or the other upper echelons that wanted a softer approach, I decided to join the arrest team, but I only ca to make sure that they do not hurt Piggy Bank. Three knights ca with as we even used a precious teleportation scroll to reach Avalon in one go. If the Grand rchant Leader knew of this then he would have thrown them out of the guild in one go for using such a precious item. Still, I will not lie that I am also very excited to use it as I rarely get to try that thing.

We arrived in Avalon, and I could only be in great shock as even the knights that ca with are the sa. The people that interact in Avalon are of different races, but the air here is different from so cities that are controlled by the guild. In the cities controlled by the rchant guild, there is a rule to not discriminate but there is still that underlying bias which makes other beings unable to truly interact with each other.

Here in Avalon, I could see different races smiling and greeting one another. Even their children are happily playing with each other even though the differences between them is stark. As soon as we arrived, I also felt the stares of the demons since we used a teleportation scroll. It seems that they saw the rchant guild badge on us which is why we were not questioned as we just went straight to the guild branch.

The knight leader and knights that I accompanied are good, but they want to ascend the ranks. This led them to be incredibly harsh when trying to get Piggy Bank. They even forgot to introduce themselves to the other person in the room that is a demon. A demon that I, myself, could not stare into as if just looking will make my eyes burst.

If the demons outside made shake in fear, the demon that is in Piggy Bank's office made outright terrified. The demon that is talking to Piggy Bank looked completely different from the other demons as if he is above all of them. His deanor also tells that he is soone so important that you should never disrespect.

I might look slightly old in my 40s and the demon might look like a teenager but they never age. He might be hundreds of years older than which is why respect must always be given. I was about to warn the knights when two of them suddenly charged but they were pinned in place due to the gravity being manipulated.

"Who gave you the authority to do arrests at my own territory without even informing ?" The demon stated which almost made heart drop as I imdiately knew who he was.

I was about to kneel down and apologize while asking the knights the sa, but this idiotic knight leader spat unnecessary words. The Lord of Avalon is an Arch Demon that can destroy the rchant guild in any city if he so chooses. I had to beco incredibly physical with the dumb knights that ca with and beg for forgiveness.

Begging for forgiveness is the only way out of this because all I felt was death when I looked straight into the eyes of the Lord of Avalon. Those eyes are eyes of soone that can easily delete you in existence.
