The Vermillion Bird of the South is still fighting with the Three-Legged Crow, but it was paying attention to the territory.
"Please protect my citizens, my friend. I can deal with the Three-Legged Crow, but I cannot deal with the army coming towards us as well. Should I fall, please save all of them." The Vermillion Bird of the South stated.
"Just make sure to deal with that shiny bird." Adrian stated as he did not want to acknowledge the last sentence that the Vermillion Bird of the South said. He then proceeded to summon Sirius, Charon, and Kimat and disappeared from their location.

The sharp talons of the Three-Legged Crow managed to grip onto the Vermillion Bird of the South.
The Three-Legged Crow started to fight against the Vermillion Bird of the South with its beak. Since they cannot harm each other with elental attacks since they are mostly of the sa elent, the Three-Legged Crow decided to it the hard way. The Three-Legged Crow poured mana into its beak and proceeded to peck the body of the Vermillion Bird of the South.
When the Three-Legged Crow pecked the body of the Vermillion Bird of the South, flas erupted from the feathers that were damaged. The Vermillion Bird of the South felt the damage to its body, and it seems that the Three-Legged Crow can also negate is flaming body.

The Vermillion Bird of the South entered its Pure Divine Fla mode which turns its body into golden flas. It also increases its wings from two to six which made it nacing when unfurled completely. Another thing that is added is the mandala crimson beads that appeared around the Vermillion Bird of the South as if to signify that it has beco truly godlike.
"Now you are serious!" The Three-Legged Crow stated as it cannot grip the body of the Vermillion Bird of the South easily when it turned into golden flas.
The golden flas of the Vermillion Bird of the South are basically its peak power where it burns its divine energy to the maximum. Just touching it can expel evil, and it is also incredibly powerful to beings that have evil energy in them. The Vermillion Bird of the South is actually shocked that its golden flas hurt the Three-Legged Crow because they are not classified as evil.
Three-Legged Crows are considered as divine beasts of the sun and are helpful. The fact that the Three-Legged Crow before him is hurt by its divine flas ant that it is considered as evil. The body of the Three-Legged Crow basically rejected the effects of the golden flas of the Vermillion Bird of the South.
"A divine beast that has fallen to depravity! You should be killed!" The Vermillion Bird of the South shouted as it used one of its powerful attacks.
The Vermillion Bird of the South activated the mandala crimson beads and created a powerful golden fire storm that hurled itself towards the Three-Legged Crow. The Three-Legged Crow wanted to dodge but the Vermillion Bird of the South is smart enough to do another spell that created a flaming cage around the forr. The Three-Legged Crow could not escape from the golden fla cage and decided to unleash its power as well.
The Vermillion Bird of the South thought that its attack will greatly injure the Three-Legged Crow as the latter was fully enveloped in the golden firestorm. What the Vermillion Bird of the South did not expect is that its golden flas will et its match as an explosion of black flas happened in the area where the Three-Legged Crow is. When the flas died down, the figure of the Three-Legged Crow could finally be seen, and it also changed.
The Three-Legged Crow could be seen bathe in black flas with its beak lined with teeth. It also gained two more red eyes that made it look terrifying. The most prominent change is the fact that is mandala looked corrupted and evil as it is now a black sun silhouette instead of a yellow one. The Three-Legged Crow finally showed it true nature, and it was indeed evil.
"You! How many taboos did you do!? Divine beasts should hold themselves into a standard. The fact that your mandala is corrupted ant that you fed on the souls of humans, monsters, and divine!" The Vermillion Bird of the South shouted in shock.
"There is only power in this world and only those that are powerful can truly beco gods! Using whatever is needed to attain that goal is but a small sacrifice that I am willing to make." The Three-Legged Crow stated.
"You will never attain true enlightennt with that mindset because it corrodes your soul! Gods with corroded soul go insane and can never control what they do. This self shall rid you of this world for you have tainted it with your corrupted soul." The Vermillion Bird of the South shouted as it released its golden feathers towards the Three-Legged Crow.
"It is you that shall be devoured by myself and beco nourishnt to the new king of divine beasts!" The Three-Legged Crow shouted as it created a large sphere made of black flas that expanded as the golden feathers hit it.
