"Please wait, hero!" The Squad Leader shouted as he wanted to warn Adrian of the dangers of the divine artifact that is planted on the ground.
Adrian did not know of the status of the divine artifact as he never really bothered to look into it even earlier. All he knew is that he needed to get the Samadhi True Fire and get out of there. He is not even familiar with the Heavenly Cudgel, but he did know that it was gold in color. The reason why Adrian did not think much of it is due to the fact that the cudgel planted onto the ground was bronze in color and not gold.
"Why is an artifact here?" Adrian muttered as he already picked up by the Heavenly Cudgel without any problem.
As soon as Adrian picked up the Heavenly Cudgel, all of the voices that tried to warn him beca silent. A strong breeze even swept the area and all of them were in disbelief when they saw that the artifact did not even put up a fight. When they were the ones that tried picking it up earlier, they were all repelled by a powerful force but the demon savior before them did not even struggle.
"I could not imagine that an artifact would be... racist?" One of the Murim alliance mbers stated as all of them were rejected but a being from another race easily picked it up without any trouble.
"I guess I should soothe all of your worries when I say that you were all repelled not because of your race. I am sure that artifact would also repel if I even dared to pick it up." Grand Mistress Nu Wa stated as she laughed while the miasma on her hand was still being purified by Saena.
"I guess it wanted to be held by soone strong. Sorry! That might have sounded very condescending to the Grand Overseer! Apologies for my brash mouth." One of the Murim Alliance mbers stated but that should not be the case as well.
"Do not worry about that. One will think of that conclusion as well but that is not why the Heavenly Cudgel chose him as a caretaker." Grand Mistress Nu Wa stated as she stared at Adrian with great ease.
"Can you please tell us why we were all rejected by the artifact?" The Murim Alliance mbers asked as this would be valuable information to them if they ever saw one again.
"It is not that all of you are weak, but you must also know who the owner of that artifact is. The owner of that artifact is none other than the Divine Beast Sun Wukong. Naturally, it can also read the hearts of those who wish to get it. Unlike all of you, the young diator has no greed for it but that is only the first step. Other artifacts would likely have other ways to determine who they want as a master." Grand Mistress Nu Wa stated.
"May we know the second step?" The Murim Alliance mbers stated as they looked at Grand Mistress Nu Wa with eyes filled with anticipation.
"Ohoh! It seems that all of you want this information but all of you are lucky that I am in a good mood for now. If we did not escape death, then I would have kept this information to myself. The second step is that the young diator over there has great affinity towards divine beasts. Artifacts can sense when another being is compatible with it which is why it easily handed itself over to him." The Grand Mistress Nu Wa stated as her hand has now been fully purified by Saena.
"Does anyone own this artifact?" Adrian asked as he returned back to the group after scouting the area.
"No, savior! That artifact should be rightfully yours now as it has followed you willingly." The Squad Leader of the Murim Alliance stated.
"No wonder it said that I obtained it." Adrian muttered as he saw a notification pop up when he touched the cudgel.

"What should I do with it? It seed like sothing that is owned by another Immortal." Adrian asked Grand Mistress Nu Wa.
"The one that owns that artifact has already left this world. It is now just a nto of the proud divine beast that wielded it. Still, I knew that divine beast which is why I am asking the young diator to take care of it and never let anyone else obtain it. You can even forget about it when you place it in your subspace which will also be an ideal situation." Grand Mistress Nu Wa stated.
"If it seems that important to the grand mistress then I shall take care of it." Adrian stated as he then proceeded to create a portal to the northern continent.
Adrian knew that sothing must have happened in the northern continent because the Black Tortoise of the North had died. He knew that his friends would not fail because Levin Cloud and Peridot were strong even in their own right. He did not care about the Corrupted Huanglong for now as his two best friends were not answering their chats.
Adrian started to create the portal, but sothing was blocking him. A powerful deterrent was present in the area where he sent them. Sothing or soone is leaking so form of energy that makes space unstable. This sent alarm bells towards Adran as sothing that could block him would be at the level of a Greater God or above. He tried to forcefully create a portal, but it just fizzled out despite consuming most of his mana.
"Do you think that they are safe?" Adrian asked Grand Mistress Nu Wa as she was not panicking like him.
"They should be safe because if my husband t with an unfortunate fate then I would have felt it. We already exchanged inverted dragon scales which ans we will know when one dies. The fact that I can still feel his life force ans that he is alive." Grand Mistress Nu Wa stated as she touched her chest.
"What do we do next? An ancient evil god has been resurrected." Adrian asked.
"I should et with the Murim Alliance Leader because the entirety of the eastern continent is now under the imminent threat of destruction. I shall also talk to him about what truly happened here in the Ei Sect." Grand Mistress Nu Wa stated as she looked at the Murim Alliance mbers.
The Murim Alliance mbers wanted to ask what happened here, but they were actually unable to lead the conversation to that. They were first subjected to the area being utterly destroyed and then they found an artifact lying about. They already lost the initial montum of asking the question that should matter the most.
"Thank you very much, Grand Overseer!" The Squad Leader stated as he bowed because that would make his life easier.
"No worries but life will only be much more difficult now. I believe that the eastern continent will once again enter an era of bloodshed." Grand Mistress Nu Wa stated as she fixed her clothes with magic.

In the northern continent, the large corpse of the Black Tortoise of the North could be seen slowly becoming particles of light. The Fallen God mbers of the Kami organization could also be seen lying there lifeless. All of them suddenly died without warning when a powerful roar reverberated from sowhere in the eastern continent.
Levin Cloud, Peridot, and Grand Master Fu Xi were all safe but injured. They did battle with the Kami organization when they reached the area, and they were holding their ground. They thought that they will win eventually but there was a being there that made them unable to be sure. This being is the reason why the Black Tortoise of the North died, and it is under the control of a player they know all too well.
"Keuk!" Tai grunted as a Eldritch’s transford hand could be seen piercing his stomach.
"You beca pathetic. I prepared so much to puml you to the ground, but you did not even make that enjoyable." Eldritch stated as he is in a monstrous looking form.
"Heh! You only won because of that monster behind you." Tai stated as he coughed up blood.
The monster behind Eldritch was none other than a mindless split entity from the god that he serves. It had a humanoid shape but most of its body were made of tentacles forming the human shape. It also has rows of large teeth that swirl around its tentacled body which made it unnerving. This being is also the one that killed off the Black Tortoise of the North.
