Su Wanyan walked beside Mo Xingxue, pushing the stroller at a relaxed pace as they moved from one enclosure to another. She watched quietly as Mo Xingxue’s usual elegant reserve lted away, replaced by bright, childlike curiosity.

The actress’s eyes sparkled when she spotted a red panda curled on a branch, and her steps quickened with excitent near the flamingos. Every new animal seed to bring out a softer, more wonder-filled version of her.

The sight made Su Wanyan’s chest ache with a bittersweet warmth.

From the original owner’s mories, she knew this was Mo Xingxue’s very first ti at a zoo. As a child, Mo Xingxue had been kept almost entirely within the walls of the Mo family estate under the guise of "protection."

The only reason their paths had crossed was because of a banquet at the Mo household. Little Su Wanyan had gotten lost, and little Mo Xingxue had quietly helped her find her parents.

After that, the Su family had been deeply grateful. They tried to repay the kindness by visiting often and inviting Mo Xingxue over, but the Mo family always refused. In the end, it was always the Su family going to the Mo estate instead.

Mo Xingxue had been raised as the heir of the main branch—the only direct descendant at the ti. But when her pre-ABO test showed a high chance of differentiating as an oga, traditionalist mbers of the family turned against her. They believed ogas were only suited for housework and raising children, and they did everything they could to undermine her.

Everything changed when her mother gave birth to another daughter—one predicted to differentiate as an alpha. Mo Xingxue was stripped of her heir status overnight and reduced to a decorative tool for the family: a way to attract investors and pave the way for her younger sister.

The most convenient future match for her had been the original Su Wanyan. When Mo Xingxue discovered this arranged fate, she had lashed out in anger, saying harsh words that deeply hurt the original owner. After that, the two had drifted apart for years—one rising in entertainnt, the other in dicine.

"Yanyan, let’s get so drinks," Mo Xingxue’s voice pulled Su Wanyan out of her thoughts.

She blinked and smiled warmly. "Sure."

Mo Xingxue led the way toward a nearby refreshnt stand while Su Wanyan followed, pushing the stroller with Mo Yan still sleeping peacefully inside.

They bought chilled drinks and found a shaded bench to rest on. The afternoon sun filtered gently through the leaves overhead, casting soft patterns on the ground. Su Wanyan had just taken a sip when her Heart of Nurture skill gently alerted her—Mo Yan was getting hungry.

"Oh, can I have the backpack?" she asked, gesturing to the small cream-colored bag on Mo Xingxue’s back.

"Of course," Mo Xingxue replied, slipping it off and handing it over without hesitation.

Su Wanyan took the prepared bottle with water already inside, added the asured milk powder, and shook it thoroughly. She then fed Mo Yan, who latched on eagerly with soft, contented sounds. Both adults watched the baby’s gluttonous little face with fond smiles.

Su Wanyan couldn’t resist snapping several quick pictures of the adorable scene.

"Hey, how did you know she was hungry?" Mo Xingxue asked, tilting her head curiously.

Su Wanyan looked at her with dramatic flair. "Instincts."

Mo Xingxue playfully rolled her eyes, and Su Wanyan laughed softly in response.

After finishing their drinks and resting for a while, they continued exploring. The peaceful atmosphere was suddenly interrupted by raised voices nearby.

"Hey! Apologize to my son!" a man shouted angrily.

The two won exchanged glances. Mo Xingxue nodded, and Su Wanyan quickly asked a nearby staff mber to call security. Then she gestured for Mo Xingxue to take the stroller and step back a safe distance.

"Why should my daughter apologize to your son?" another man yelled back.

The argunt was escalating quickly, drawing a crowd. It looked like the two fathers were seconds away from throwing punches. Seeing no one else stepping in, Su Wanyan walked forward calmly.

"Excuse ," she said in a clear, steady voice. "What seems to be the problem here?"

Both n turned and glared at her. "Mind your own business," the first man snapped rudely.

Su Wanyan kept her gentle smile in place, though her tone grew firr. "That is what I’m trying to do. But if you two start fighting and blocking the path, how can anyone mind their own business?"

She gestured around them. "Look around you. This is a place for people to enjoy the animals. Instead, everyone is watching two grown n trying to prove who’s mightier."

Her calm yet sharp words earned several impressed murmurs from the onlookers. Before the situation could worsen, security finally arrived. Su Wanyan briefly explained what she had seen, then returned to Mo Xingxue and Mo Yan’s side as if nothing had happened.

"Sorry about that," she said lightly. "Shall we go?"

Mo Xingxue, however, was montarily lost in mory.

A similar scene from years ago flashed through her mind. Back then, an alpha she had rejected had publicly insulted ogas, claiming they were only good for making babies and should know their place. Young Su Wanyan had stepped forward without hesitation. She had calmly listed successful ogas—CEOs, doctors, even presidents—and delivered a cutting remark about alphas whose only purpose seed to be "sperm donation and leaving to buy milk."

That single bold intervention had silenced the mocking alphas in their school. After that day, no one dared to openly disparage ogas in front of them again.

"Xuexue? Xuexue?"

Mo Xingxue blinked, pulled back to the present by Su Wanyan’s gentle voice. "Huh?"

Su Wanyan smiled. "I asked if we should go now?"

Mo Xingxue nodded quickly. "Yeah.. yeah, let’s do that."

She led the way again, and Su Wanyan followed with the stroller, a small, contented smile on her face.
