Hao Ren and Han Lingshi stood in the distance as they watched the attack swallow Hao Qilin and his five henchn. Ye Si was prepared for sothing crazy to happen but she was still shocked. She used her spiritual power to block the shockwave from the explosion.

Ye Si and Yin were also left stunned. Han Lingshi was hit by the ray of light, and then she was thrown off her feet. Hao Ren stood in his spot frozen, looking at the lady who lay on the ground as if she was dead.
Hao Ren's spiritual energy began to radiate as if a tsunami that would swallow everything in its wake. The young man walked over to Han Lingshi, and said, "Lingling, open your eyes."
His voice was as soft as a feather caressing her skin. It was brimming with love, but Han Lingshi did not react. Hao Ren began to shiver, he felt as if his soul had been ripped in two. Tears began to drop along his cheeks, they were tears of blood.
Ye Si sensed sothing from his state of mind and she appeared next to him. She quickly checked Han Lingshi's pulse and said, "Big Brother, she is just unconscious. Your protection jewel saved her."
Hao Ren was so badly shocked and grief driven that even him, a master dical practitioner, forgot to take her pulse. It was only when Ye Si reminded him, did he take asure of her pulse and controlled his grievances a bit. He said, "Take her back to the Crescent Moon Palace. I will co over in a bit."
Ye Si nodded and she picked up Han Lingshi in her arms and moved away quickly. Yin saw Hao Ren standing up from the ground and he vanished from his spot.
