In ALLGoDS: Ragnarok, armants were graded in power scaling and rarity. There were seven grades in total.

- Common

- Uncommon

- Rare

- Epic

- Legendary

- Mythic

- Divine / God Slayer

Common and Uncommon armants were comfortable in early ga. Rare and Epic could carry you through mid-ga. But to scale the endga, you needed Legendary-grade armants at minimum.

But, no one had ever gotten an armant above Legendary grade.

Not in all the years the ga had been active. Of all the millions of players who’d tried, only a handful even got Legendary-grade armants.

And Barlan’s tools were all Epic grade, good enough to scale the latter stages of the mid ga.

"Wise choice, brother. Wise choice," Barlan said, his hollow voice carrying a note of approval.

He reached into his tattered robes and pulled out another item, holding it out toward King.

"Take this."

King received it.

[ARCBEARER’S DALLION]

King turned the dallion over in his hand, studying it carefully. It was small, circular, made of dark iron and etched with the sa runic symbols that adorned Barlan’s coffin. The surface was cold to the touch, and faintly warm at the center, energy circulated within.

He rembered the tool well. A dallion that served dual purposes.

The first was to teleport a player directly to the Arcbearer’sTablehold, a location off the maps where multiple Arcbearers gathered. It was one of the few places in the ga where you could trigger high-tier side quests and form alliances with other cursed carriers.

The second was to call on an Arcbearer ally for support in battle. A temporary summon which served as a lifeline in dire situations.

But the dallions were consumables, they broke after use. And throughout all his playthroughs, King had never received more than two.

He’d always used the first to travel to the Tablehold and unlock extra questlines. The second, he’d saved for the ’Tenth Plague’ one of the hardest survival events in the ga. Even then, it had barely been enough, because it only got tougher after the plagues.

But now...

King’s mind raced with possibilities.

"Very well then," Barlan said, his voice fading slightly. "Till we et again, brother."

And just like that, he vanished, dissolving into smoke that curled upward and dispersed into the air.

[ 500 RUNES]

King’s eyes fixed on the notification, but his attention was already elsewhere.

Another prompt appeared.

[ACTIVATE GOD’S HAND: 100x REWARD SKILL. Y/N]

King paused.

He still had a good amount of runes, 33,000 total. And even though it was early, he still needed to choose what rewards to best use the skill before the cooldown activates.

He selected [NO].

The notification vanished.

King turned his attention to the other two rewards.

The gauntlet and the dallion.

To his surprise, the system wasn’t automatically offering the option to activate the skill on them. No notification popped in his vision requesting him to use the skill.

Interesting.

King tapped on the Arcbearer’s dallion manually, pulling up its details.

And there it was, at the bottom of the item description.

[ACTIVATE GOD’S HAND: 100x REWARD SKILL. Y/N]

King chuckled under his breath.

So the ga was trying to scam him out of rewards that actually mattered.

What a cheat.

He activated the skill.

[GOD’S HAND: 100x REWARD SKILL ACTIVATED]

[SELECT THOD: QUALITY / QUANTITY]

King considered the two options carefully.

He had no idea what upgrading the quality of the dallion would do. It was a supplentary tool, not a weapon or armor. Would quality make it reusable, stronger or more versatile?

He didn’t know.

And he wasn’t willing to gamble on it yet.

Preferring to test that option with the second dallion, he chose QUANTITY.

[YOU HAVE NOW RECEIVED 100 ARCBEARER DALLIONS]

King’s face lit up, A hundred, the skill truly loved up to it’s na.

The fact that he’d only ever had two dallions in all his previous playthroughs had greatly limited his opportunities. He’d been forced to ration them, to choose between exploring the Tablehold or saving one for ergencies.

But now?

He had more than enough.

His mind imdiately darted to Archangel Voriel, and the Council of the All-Father. This ti, he had the ans to summon Barlan, and potentially other Arcbearers to aid him in those fights.

But first, he had to earn their alliances.

And more importantly, he had to survive to the endga.

Because this ti, there were no respawns.

The dallions settled into his inventory, stacking neatly in a glowing pile.

Next, King tapped on the Gauntlet of Ruin.

[ACTIVATE GOD’S HAND: 100x REWARD SKILL. Y/N]

He selected [YES].

[GOD’S HAND: 100x REWARD SKILL ACTIVATED]

[SELECT THOD: QUALITY / QUANTITY]

With absolute certainty, King selected [QUALITY].

[ACTIVATION SUCCESSFUL]

[QUALITY OF ARMANT HAS BEEN IMPROVED BY 100%]

[NEW GRADE UNLOCKED]

ARMANT: Gauntlet of Ruin

GRADE: Legendary

SPELL:

- Ruin’s Touch (S-Rank): When activated, whatever the user touches is destroyed. Damage scales directly to rank.

MP COST: -70 MP

_______________________________________

King stared at the description, it’s function was the sa. But since it scaled directly to rank, the destructive capabilities were sitting comfortably in the legendary grade.

A Legendary-grade armant at the start of the ga.

Epic-grade tools were enough to scale through the First Penance. With this, his survival was almost guaranteed.

But nothing was ever certain. Still, this was a damn good start.

King equipped the gauntlet.

The mont he did, it materialized on his right hand. Sleek, black, and segnted, like an insect chitin. It fit perfectly, as if it had been made specifically for him.

He flexed his fingers experintally, and clenched his fist.

For just a mont, King felt power surge through him.

He exhaled slowly, then dismissed the interface.

[18D:20H:24M:60S]

The ti still counted in his peripheral field of vision, eighteen days left.

He made his way back toward his horse, mounting it quickly and urging it forward.

As King rode back toward the mansion, his mind was already thinking ahead.

This was a positive start. But this was just the beginning of his Legendary-Build goal.

He still needed more armants. Even unique outfits were graded. And more importantly, he needed more allies.

His intention was to look out after the first penance.

Because once that barrier dropped, the real ga began.

The world would open up, players would clash. More monsters would spawn, and the five million least active players would have been removed.

King’s brows furrowed as he strengthened his resolve.

He wasn’t going to be one of them.
