"I'm not a 'hero of justice.' I just do whatever I feel like."
Rin Yuki shook his head, brushing off Kurumi's comnt.
He never saw himself as so kind of good person—he just followed his own desires.
If he liked sothing, he kept it safe.
If he didn't like sothing, he destroyed it without a second thought.
As for the label "hero of justice"? That was way too much responsibility for soone like him.
Across all the worlds that existed, Yuki believed there was only one person who truly fit that title: the guy who wore red underwear on top of his pants.
"But Mr. Yuki, you saved us—you saved our whole school!" Kurumi protested.
Yuki let out a small laugh. "Maybe I did."
"But really, I only ca to save you two."
"Huh?"
Both girls froze, confused by what he said.
"To put it simply… I just didn't want to see two beautiful girls die in such a sad way."
Yuki shrugged, saying it as plainly as possible.
"Oh…"
His blunt answer left both girls speechless.
In that mont, they realized Yuki wasn't trying to be a saint.
He just felt more... real. Soone who acted based on feelings, not so higher purpose.
"Mr. Yuki, you're really… different, huh?" Saya said, struggling to find the right word.
She settled on "different," though "unique" was more accurate.
Because Yuki really was special—not just because of how strong he was, but because of how incredibly good-looking he was.
"Still, you saved us. So, on behalf of the whole school… thank you," Kurumi said, bowing slightly.
"Mhm. I'll take that thanks." Yuki nodded.
But as soon as things got formal, Kurumi's playful side ca right back.
She pulled Sawa close to Yuki again, gave a proper introduction, then—
"Hey, hey, hey! Mr. Yuki, how did those drones turn into glowing particles earlier?!"
Kurumi suddenly turned into a curious little kid, excited and full of questions.
Sawa watched her friend and let out a sigh, placing a hand on her forehead.
"Sorry, Mr. Yuki. Kurumi's always like this—she gets super curious whenever weird powers show up."
She looked worried that Yuki might be annoyed.
"It's okay. Honestly, I think this side of Kurumi is pretty cute."
Yuki said it so casually, but the complint hit Kurumi like a lightning bolt.
Her cheeks turned red, and her heart skipped a beat.
A warm, fluttery feeling filled her chest.
Sawa saw the way her friend reacted and couldn't help smirking inside.
Yep. She's totally fallen for him.
But then, Yuki looked at her—and said sothing even more unexpected.
"And of course, Sawa, you're adorable too."
The words caught Sawa completely off guard.
Her heart skipped, then started pounding wildly.
So this is what it feels like when your heart flutters!
No way—this is bad! Am I falling for him too?!
Her cheeks turned pink, and her eyes flicked around nervously. She couldn't even look him in the face.
Watching their reactions, Yuki just smiled, then turned back to explaining what had happened with the drones.
In short, he had shrunk the drones' remains by collapsing their dinsions.
First from three dinsions… down to two.
Then from two… to one.
And finally, to zero.
Once they hit zero dinsions, they stopped existing altogether.
Kurumi and Sawa listened carefully, nodding, even though they didn't completely understand it.
But that wasn't really important anymore.
What was important was what was still happening above them—an alien invasion.
When Yuki took down that drone, the whole world saw it as a sign.
A sign that war had started.
In just minutes, armies around the world went into full combat mode.
Fighter jets flew toward the huge alien warship, each one carrying their country's most powerful missiles.
Evacuations had started on the ground—but with less than an hour to prepare, most people were still stuck in the chaos when the attack began.
Missiles flew like a rainstorm, leaving trails of fire behind them as they shot toward the alien ship.
Inside the ship, the aliens watched everything unfold with cold amusent.
"The humans are trying to fight. Turn on the defensive shield."
As soon as the order was given, a massive energy barrier appeared, surrounding the entire warship.
It was perfect. Nothing could get through.
Missiles hit it one after another, exploding into fire and smoke.
But when the smoke cleared?
Not even a scratch.
The shield shimred softly, like water rippling after a small splash.
"Ha! Pathetic humans!" one alien laughed. "You can't even break our most basic shield, and you still try to attack us?!"
"This doesn't even tickle the warship!"
The aliens laughed loudly, their voices echoing through the ship.
Compared to their advanced tech, Earth's weapons were nothing—like throwing rocks at a tank.
And that shield?
It was just the first of many. Behind it, there were 99 more layers.
Each one stronger than the last.
They had expected a fight—but not from such weaklings.
Still, the attacks continued.
High-powered missiles rained down. The explosions were so huge, shockwaves shook the ground. Buildings trembled and collapsed. Roads cracked open. Everything shook from the nonstop bombing.
Through all of this, Ellen and Karen were kept safe under a glowing energy barrier—Mio's power keeping them unhard.
And Rin Yuki?
The school building he stood in didn't even have a scratch on it.
An invisible force was protecting it, canceling out every shockwave before it could even touch the walls.
"Mr. Yuki… are you really not going to help?" Kurumi asked, looking up at him with serious eyes.
Her wine-red gaze reflected only him.
Yuki stood there, quiet for a mont.
Then he sighed.
"Alright. Since you asked so sweetly… I'll take care of it."
"But just to be clear—" he grinned—"I'm only doing this for you, Kurumi."
He gave her a playful smile.
In truth, he would've stepped in anyway. Right now, besides Mio, he was the only one strong enough to handle this alien threat.
Mio's power was Star Level—sa as Gid's.
But in a real battle? Mio would win.
Her control over ti and space made her incredibly dangerous.
Still, Yuki wasn't going to let her fight.
Not because she'd lose…
But because Gid was a total pervert.
And Yuki wasn't going to let so creepy alien stare at her.
Without saying a word out loud, he sent a ntal ssage to Mio and the others:
"Don't move. I'll handle everything."
They felt a wave of relief. Everyone knew what Yuki was capable of.
Then, as Kurumi and Saya watched in awe, Yuki raised his hand.
He opened a portal.
Not just any portal.
This one was deep, black, and swirling—like the space between stars. A doorway into the unknown.
"I'll be right back," he said with a grin.
Then he stepped through.
And disappeared into the darkness.
