The appearance of the sun made Wizard Reed take several steps backward; as a Dark Wizard, his sensitivity to sunlight was naturally much higher than others.
He looked up. The sun's ergence was abrupt, and he needed to understand what was happening.
How did the sun just appear out of nowhere? This was indeed unexpected.
The sky was still gloomy without a hint of brightness. He was puzzled about where this sun had co from.
Wizard Reed was baffled. With such a large sun hanging above the dark ocean, he was caught in a dilemma, unsure whether to advance or retreat.
While the Dark Wizard Reed was confused, his opponents, led by Igor, appeared rather pleased. The sun's appearance had not only lted the Ice Blades but also cald the mighty ocean, stopping the Water Folk from causing further disturbances. A brief ceasefire was thus ford—a precious mont, allowing them to make appropriate adjustnts.
The Great ntor couldn't help but praise Igor. This young man always managed to create extraordinary outcos. Despite being a tad slow, the results were often astonishing. No one expected him to use the chill to freeze the Water Folk, let alone manage to raise the surrounding temperature imdiately afterward to lt the ice. Igor's rapid thought process at that mont was beyond the Great ntor's imagination; he didn't seem slow at all.
Moreover, this youngster had managed to summon such a huge sun! Conjuring a sun in an Inner World controlled by a Dark Wizard was both a daring and aggressive approach. After all, the sun was a sensitive matter for Dark Wizards. Summoning sothing so hated by others in their own territory was a downright provocative act!
The Great ntor Guzan gained a new appreciation for Igor's courage and audacity.
In reality, the Great ntor's speculations about Igor were wishful thinking. Igor himself hadn't thought things through that thoroughly; he simply acted on his imdiate instincts. Although he usually considered others' feelings and whether his environnt would permit his actions, he hadn't had ti to think during the crisis. He made an inspired leap in thought, summoned the sun, and focused on lting the Ice Blades into water first…
Igor's actions earned him Kadi's admiration, the Great ntor's respect, and Stan Sol's relief. Naturally, they also provoked various suspicions from their enemies.
Acting impulsively often led to various misunderstandings, which in turn could push events in an entirely different direction, completely derailing them from their original course.
Wizard Reed was still at a loss as to how the sun had appeared. The incantation he had used didn't include the sun; in their entire dark system, the sun simply wasn't supposed to exist.
The sun's appearance took Wizard Reed by surprise. He didn't believe the sun should be there but felt sowhat helpless now that it was. After all, for Dark Wizards, the sun was a thorny issue; they could only endure it, not counteract it.
The Power of Darkness couldn't contend with this fiery red sphere. The sun was a troubleso entity, sothing they'd generally avoid provoking. Even in battle, they would try their utmost to avoid the sun factor.
Wizard Reed was completely perplexed. With the sun present, he didn't know how to proceed. All he could do was hesitate, avoiding any rash actions until he could gauge his opponents' strength.
His pause, in turn, confused Igor and the others. They felt that the forceful attacks from their unseen enemy had suddenly ceased. This abrupt halt was torture for them…
Naturally, there were those among them who understood, like the Great ntor. However, he chose to remain in the background. He wanted to see what other surprises these youngsters could bring him.
Kadi, in contrast, was elated. He felt Igor's counterattack was truly powerful, completely subduing the vast ocean.
At present, the situation was a stalemate. Both sides had ceased their attacks because neither could fully decipher the other's intentions, so no one dared to make a reckless move.
Neither Igor nor Stan Sol were certain if their opponent was genuinely affected or rely feigning injury while awaiting an opportunity. Their caution led them to slowly assess the current situation.
The sa was true for Dark Wizard Reed. He could only speculate, especially since the sun's appearance had significantly impacted him.
Wizard Reed surmised that whoever was protecting Guzan, the living key, must be a formidable expert, one who knew their weaknesses. To conjure a sun within the world of Dark Arts was by no ans a simple feat…
Regardless, the arrogance and conceit Wizard Reed had initially felt from his surge of excitent gradually faded, replaced by caution.
A sense of tension erged in Wizard Reed, an emotion he hadn't experienced in a very long ti. Its appearance indicated he was entering an extrely agitated state. This state foreshadowed that the ensuing battle would escalate to white-hot intensity; his subsequent attacks would beco frenzied, far more than a simple increase in attack level.
Once caution was abandoned, an imasurable force would be unleashed.
Conversely, Igor and his companions had always maintained a cautious attitude towards the orchestrator behind the scenes. Therefore, there was no question of them launching a sudden burst of attacks. For them, successfully resisting one wave of the opponent's assault was a comndable result.
Of course, they were also quite content. After all, their initial goal was rely to delay their adversaries' progress. As long as they could prevent their opponents from finding their location quickly, they would consider it a success.
Now, it seed they had indeed succeeded.
It appeared they had effectively trapped their adversary here.
It was hard to imagine. They had initially planned only to stall for ti, never expecting things to escalate to the current stalemate. The situation had now devolved into an evenly matched confrontation, where it was difficult to determine a victor.
This was one reason for Kadi's excitent. He felt they were now in an advantageous position, having transford from re troublemakers into genuine contenders. Perhaps it wouldn't be long before they could seize the initiative. After all, the current situation was a waiting ga; whoever made the first mistake would be at a disadvantage.
Although Igor and Stan Sol weren't as optimistic as Kadi, they too felt a sense of relief. The current situation allowed them to catch their breath. They also began to speculate; many things needed to be addressed next, and they had to consider all possible outcos.
