Kadi felt extrely proud when he saw Kevin. After all, this ti, he was the one helping Kevin! This was completely different from his past experiences, as the roles had reversed. Naturally, he was quite proud.
"You're progressing quite fast, little guy!" Kevin had a tendency to be careless when things were going well. At this mont, he was busy greeting Igor and boasting to Kadi, completely forgetting about the monster that was about to escape.
Luckily, there were others around them. At least Milo was more attentive than Kevin; among them, Stan Sol was the most ticulous.
Stan Sol couldn't afford to be careless. After all, this wasn't his main focus, nor was it his goal. He was on a mission to find his brother and restore their family's glory.
His mission demanded that he remain vigilant and never let his guard down.
Thus, he couldn't forget about this monster. It was preparing to escape right in front of him. How could he let his prey slip away?
"Battle Pet, advance!" Stan Sol roared. His fire could hardly be restrained. It had rested long enough and was now itching to be unleashed, eager for a chance to display its power.
Stan Sol's Battle Pet Fiery Blaze danced wildly in the air like a flying dragon, looking very imposing. Combined with the intimidating aura inherent to flas, Fiery Blaze resembled a brilliant dancer, constantly spinning and leaping through the air!
This scene was magnificent. Igor, for one, watched with wide eyes, almost star-struck.
"See? This is the master of fire I was talking about," Milo said with a faint smile. "Allow to lend you a hand."
After speaking, Milo shook his cloak. Apparently, he was preparing for alchemy; it was unknown what he would exchange this ti.
"The monster is gathering towards the spring. It seems like it's trying to escape to a place with water," Kevin, also awed by the magnificent flas, said. He quickly dropped his boastful tone and pointed out the direction he had discerned.
"Go!" Stan Sol reacted with excellent coordination. Upon hearing Kevin's directions, he imdiately commanded his Battle Pet Fiery Blaze to intercept. There was no way he would let this monster escape.
"I've circled the area for you with an Alchemy Potion. Now, it's up to you to drive them back," Milo said.
Suddenly, an irregular, bright yellow circle appeared on the ground of Moonflow Stream. This bright circle was obviously the Alchemy Potion Milo had exchanged.
"This Alchemy Potion is a fire booster that can elevate your flas to a higher realm," Milo explained, much like a user manual. He saw himself as a supporting character in this mont; the entire stage belonged to these youngsters. His role was to help enhance their presence and power.
FWOOSH!
The Battle Pet, guided by Kevin's direction and Milo's demarcated range, ford a fla encirclent. Since Fiery Blaze could freely change its form, and with the aid of the fire booster, its flas shot high into the sky.
It circled tirelessly within the ring, WHOOSHING, its long trailing figure creating a spectacular circle of fire on Moonflow Stream. A ring of fla had been ford, and at this mont, the monster was truly encircled.
Thunderous Rage!
At this mont, Stan Sol again felt his brother's aura. If his brother was Thunder, then he was Rage. Since lightning could vanquish this monster, fire too would be highly effective.
As expected, the fragnts of the monster retreated. Wherever the flas reached, the monster's fragnts shrank back!
Gradually, everyone noticed that the monster was afraid of the fire elent. No wonder Kevin's previous attacks had no effect on it.
Kevin's attacks were all sword slashes. Even if his blade was as swift as the wind, it didn't possess a fire attribute. Although his attacks were as fast as lightning, they weren't of the lightning elent; they were wind-based. Therefore, the monster was not hard.
But now, true flas had arrived. Their Fla Type attacks completely suppressed the monster's escape route. This led people to wonder: was this monster of a wood attribute, fearing only fire and not wind?
It was very possible, but there was no point in researching it now. Stan Sol, the master of fire, was communicating with his Battle Pet Fiery Blaze in his own way, clearly preparing to capture this monster.
The ring of fire on the ground was shrinking. The monster's fragnts continuously moved towards the center, slowly reassembling into sothing resembling a small hill. This ti, however, they didn't deliberately form into anything specific but simply piled up.
Stan Sol was releasing his Spirit Power. He didn't carry many hunting tools, so he had to use them judiciously, aiming to capture this prey completely.
Igor, Kadi, and the others watched everything in silence. They were now in complete control of the scene, a feeling that was truly satisfying. The opportunity to observe an ancient Hunter capturing a monster not of this world was indeed sothing to boast about later. Igor and the others watched quietly, savoring the spectacle.
However, things were not as simple as they imagined. Before long, more figures appeared at Moonflow Stream.
The first figure to appear startled Hustace so badly he nearly fainted. It was a Dual-faced Monster, one half of its face old, the other like a child's.
The lighting was poor, but Stan Sol's flas illuminated the area brilliantly. Thus, the Dual-faced Monster's appearance was quite frightening.
Igor had encountered this Dual-faced individual before. It was Senior Arnold; his tiline had perplexed Igor for a considerable ti.
Arnold's appearance here clearly indicated he had already defeated his own formidable opponent...
Imdiately after, Simon arrived, treading his Devil's Steps, followed by Joela and Pedro...
Evidently, everyone had dealt with the challenging opponents they had faced and were now in complete command of the situation. In other words, this place was now safe.
Upon arrival, everyone was amazed and awed by the sight of Fiery Blaze hunting.
Perhaps this interlude of peace had lasted a bit too long, making Kevin and the others feel a subtle unease they couldn't quite identify.
Was it really safe now? Or was this still an illusion created by the enemy?
Kevin fell into thought.
He also noticed sothing else: among all the people who had arrived, Xiso was missing... With Xiso absent, the fact that everything was proceeding so smoothly felt very strange.
