To be honest, Kadi kind of missed Igor at this ti.
In his eyes, Igor was calm, rational, and analytical. So, he often relied on Igor, despite not having known him for very long. Even though they had only known each other for a brief ti, he already considered Igor an important companion.
Kadi couldn't help but miss him here because he felt sowhat helpless.
He strained his eyes, but still couldn't find the information he sought. Everything here was under the other party's control, and most importantly, it was clear that they were attacking them with so sort of psychic technique. Moreover, this attack was peculiar, causing everyone to lose their emotions and gradually their ability to express themselves.
It wasn't cruel, but it was disgusting.
The Devouring that the Dark Force talked about probably referred to the kind of assimilation it had ntioned.
It's like this Dark Force is creating Puppets, Kadi thought. Everyone who has their emotions drained will beco a walking corpse. These walking corpses will eventually beco captives of the Dark Force. Just as the Dark Force itself said, all the people devoured would, through this assimilation, beco useful shells...
In other words, this Dark Force was continuously creating Puppets, and it was the master of these Puppets. It could control and command these Puppets...
Kadi believed this was the true goal of this Dark Force. Perhaps this Dark Force truly had no form and was just a sentient consciousness. Yet this consciousness was extrely powerful, controlling a large number of bodies directly.
In Kadi's speculation, Wizard Reed hadn't died and disappeared; he was rely controlled by this consciousness, gradually losing all his original awareness, which was then completely replaced by this new consciousness.
Surely Igor would agree with this idea, Kadi thought. The more I think about it, the more I want to ask Igor for help. As long as Igor is around, no problem can't be solved; moreover, we'd have countless fun monts when solving problems. But this damn thing has made everyone lose their way, and I can't figure out what's happening to them at all!
This also made things difficult for him. He, normally a playful child, now carried such a heavy burden—one that would crush an ordinary person. Yet, Kadi not only faced the Dark Force bravely but also tried to draw out its words, hoping to find a weakness in what it said.
However, all this wasn't easy. Although the Dark Force was a chatterbox, it didn't say much about itself. Mostly, it talked about various individuals it had devoured in the past, comparing them to its current targets...
More importantly, it had devoured the souls of more than nine hundred people, and it was currently only on the twenty-fourth...
The sheer number of souls and the length of its monologue made Kadi feel sowhat desperate. He knew that the Dark Force was slowly eating away at the Energy of the others, but Kadi couldn't stop it.
If Igor were here at this mont, what would he do?
Kadi began to change his way of thinking. He looked at the stupefied Igor and began to recall the choices Igor had made at critical monts when they were together.
No matter what, I really trust Igor. To date, he's the person who has brought the most surprises. So, I firmly believe that as long as I follow his thought process, everything will beco straightforward. The biggest difference between Igor and is that Igor can enter his Inner World without limits, while I can't.
The term 'Inner World' sparked sothing in Kadi. The Inner World... that seems to be a form of ntal technique! If so, could we counter the Dark Force's attack with the Inner World Spell? However, I don't know how to use the Inner World. I can't even enter an Inner World, let alone create one. It seed the Inner World was Igor's strength. But right now, Igor is almost unconscious.
Kadi scratched his head in frustration. He had seemingly found the answer to the problem, but suddenly couldn't grasp how to implent it. He had the thod, but he didn't have the ans to accomplish it.
Kadi fell deep in thought.
"The one hundred and twenty-third soul I devoured was a pair of twins," the Dark Force continued its narration. "They shared one body and did everything together, even going to the bathroom. The funniest part was when they had a conflict: one wanted to go on a hunger strike, but the other didn't. In the end, their body couldn't take the strain and collapsed."
The Dark Force kept on narrating its fragnted mories. These mories belonged to others, and with a little manipulation, it turned them into long stories that were both boring and interesting at the sa ti. It was boring because Kadi had no interest in listening to these things, yet interesting because the content itself was indeed rather curious.
"If they had two bodies, it would not have been as funny. But they just had to share a body, shared everything, and when they disagreed, the disadvantage beca apparent. Haha, they collapsed."
Upon hearing the word 'shared,' Kadi's eyes suddenly lit up. Wow! Isn't this what I've been looking for?
At this mont, it was as if a light bulb lit up in Kadi's brain, guiding him in a clear direction.
Now I rember! I *have* actually entered an Inner World before and seen the scenes inside! Right! When I entered the Inner World, it wasn't through my own power. I was able to see the scenes in the Inner World entirely because soone else shared their Spirit Vision with ! Yes, it was through sharing that I entered that Inner World, the one Igor created!
Kadi felt a surge of gratitude towards this Dark Force, and also towards the one hundred and twenty-third soul it had devoured.
This story has given a thod! A thod to contact Igor and the others! Spirit Vision Sharing... Kadi had used this technique several tis. So, it seems I can also transmit my thoughts to Igor and the others! Although Igor and the others look like dead fish right now, I firmly believe their consciousness can't be so easily crushed. They must still have so hold on their conscious minds.
With this thought, Kadi fird his resolve.
I've tried this thod many tis, and it worked well each ti. The first ti I encountered this thod was at Moonflow Stream. It was a mont of inspiration from Igor. Through this thod, I was able to see Lord Soron in his Spirit Power State... So this ti, I can use this technique, the Ant Connection Spell, to get in touch with Igor and the others!
The thod Kadi thought of was the Ant Connection Spell. This technique presented him with no difficulty, and it had proven infallible in recent attempts.
