Suddenly, a bright light broke through the skies of Moonflow Stream.
This bright light was like the flas previously on Kadi's body—blazing red and brimming with power.
It was the color of sunlight, radiating with an unabashed anger, spreading wildly in all directions.
This beam of light seed as if it had always existed here; without the slightest mont of gathering, it directly unleashed its maximum Energy.
In an instant, the clouds above Moonflow Stream parted, revealing a clear sky. Even though it was the Deep Winter Season, with vast white snows and bone-chilling air, the sun's brilliance still scattered about as recklessly as in midsumr.
The illuminated Moonflow Stream was worlds apart from its dark counterpart. The gloom and eeriness of the darkness were swept away by the sunlight, replaced by brightness and a refreshing clarity.
This sensation instantly invigorated the weary, who, aided by the sunlight, strained to carefully observe their surroundings. The surrounding scenery was as picturesque as a painting, compelling everyone to take extra glances; these beautiful sights seed to possess a magical allure that unconsciously captivated all attention.
The appearance of the sunlight was very sudden, coinciding with the mont Igor released his grip.
When the Lightning in Igor's hand soared into the sky, Dark Wizard Reed's lingering will was still steeped in contempt and incomprehension.
Evidently, Wizard Reed's lingering will was unconcerned by this sneak attack, even seeming to toy with Igor while restraining him...
He truly wanted to thoroughly toy with these ants; otherwise, he couldn't vent the resentnt in his heart.
Originally, he had planned to accumulate his power to its peak and then crush these ants in one fell swoop.
But plans rarely keep up with changes. The Dark Force had never imagined those Insect Worms would dare to bite him—and to bite him right to his face.
Indeed, the 'Insect Worm' the Dark Force referred to was Igor. It turned out that Igor's piece of wood had played an unexpected role.
The reason the Dark Force had delayed attacking everyone in Moonflow Stream was because he had been struck into a daze by Igor's wooden plank. To be precise, he no longer possessed a soul or a physical shell...
Yet, he still pondered why these Insect Worms dared to be so audacious. This very thought disrupted his montum, throwing off his entire rhythm—this was precisely what Kuren described as breaking the opponent's tempo.
This was why the Dark Force had not completely crushed them. It could be said that Igor's plank had indeed plunged the Dark Force into a state from which he could not extricate himself.
So, when he once again caught Igor's trail, he was exceedingly excited.
After the excitent, he felt shock. Why did these Insect Worms possess such imnse audacity, relentlessly trying to launch sneak attacks?
Wizard Reed's dark lingering will hadn't understood many things to begin with, and now he was even more perplexed.
But an Insect Worm was just an Insect Worm, incapable of stirring up any significant storm. A sneak attack of this level posed no threat to him whatsoever.
He only needed to flick a finger to neutralize this sneak attack.
And so it was. Igor was restrained by him in mid-air, unable to advance even half a step, and was continuously mocked by him...
At that mont, even Stan Sol felt they had utterly and completely failed...
But sotis, events unfold in ways one cannot comprehend.
No one had imagined that Igor's desperate gamble was truly a matter of letting go...
This act of letting go freed the Lightning. In an instant, it tore across the entire sky, and the fiery red sun abruptly took center stage.
The Undead Creatures, already terrified by the flas on Kadi and hiding in every shadow, instantly fell into disarray. They continuously dodged the sun's pervasive glow, scrambling towards Wizard Reed's lingering will.
It seed that there, they could find refuge from the sun's interference.
"This... how is this possible!" Wizard Reed's lingering will could not believe what was happening before his eyes. To him, the Dark Force was inviolable and glorious, representing supre power; it was impossible for it to be subdued by this group of people.
But now, a fiery red sun hung high in the sky, its pervasive light shining down, causing all his Undead Creatures to scurry for cover.
With a soft FLUMP, Igor, who had been immobilized in mid-air, suddenly regained his freedom. However, at this mont, both his spirit and stamina had reached their absolute limit. Unable to control his body, he could only freefall...
Stan Sol laboriously dragged his body towards Igor. He too was utterly exhausted. After managing to help Igor up, they sat back-to-back on the ground, chuckling softly.
This relieved laughter further baffled the Dark Force. Why had his own formidable power suddenly beco worthless?
"Why? Why on earth is this happening?" The Dark Force was on the verge of hysterics.
"Heh, because you're a bastard who can't face the sun!" Igor quipped, his voice strained.
"No! No! I am invincible! I am invincible!" The hysterical lingering will of Wizard Reed, like a madman, kept repeating the sa phrase.
"Thank the sun for its pervasive light, thank the sun for its colors!" Igor raised his hands to the sky; this was his happiest mont.
"I will destroy you! I will destroy you all!" The lingering will of Darkness continued to bellow, but however powerful he was, he could not withstand the sun's might.
The sunlight drove the Undead Creatures into a panicked flight, sending them swarming towards him without a shred of hesitation.
Those Undead Creatures were either scorched to ash by the sunlight or desperately sought refuge beside Wizard Reed. So scattered, others were obliterated. The overwhelming advantage he once held had vanished completely.
"I will destroy you! I will destroy you all!" Still believing he could regain control of everything, Wizard Reed's lingering will remained blindly confident. He simply could not understand where he had gone wrong.
He completely failed to understand! How had this sun appeared? And what was this sunlight all about?!
"Isn't the Dark Force afraid of sunlight?" Igor mused aloud, though in doing so, he was also revealing to his enemy the ultimate reason for its failure.
"When I was young, I always wondered what color sunlight was."
It was ti for another of Igor's stories, and Igor's stories were never lacking in excitent.
"Back then, sunlight looked golden-yellow, so I assud it was yellow."
"Mm-hmm." Leaning against Igor, Stan Sol was clearly interested in the story.
"Later, the morning sun showed that answer was wrong."
"Oh?" Stan Sol prompted.
"Haven't you seen it? The morning sunlight is red."
"So, sunlight... what is it, really?" Stan Sol asked, his voice weak.
"Later, on my adventures, an elder told that sunlight holds all the colors of the rainbow."
"So?" Stan Sol was still a bit puzzled. "What was the point of all this?"
"The sun has only just revealed one of its colors. That's why we can sit here peacefully for now...'"
