The weather in the extre winter was like a child's face—ever-changing: one mont it snowed, the next the sun shone brightly, and sotis rain would even drift down upon the mountain.
This peculiar weather only occurred in the mountains, and only in the mountains could one experience such capricious teorological wonders.
But at that mont, the people on Guru Mountain were in no mood to admire these sights. For them, the events unfolding on this mountain were far too mysterious.
The sudden and bizarre incidents had left them perplexed. Afterward, they remained dumbfounded, as if everything that had happened in recent days had completely shattered their understanding of reality.
Whether it was the masters of the Alchemy Workshop or the monsters of Guru Mountain, although tensions remained high during their respite, their hearts were in significant turmoil.
They did not know whether the world had changed too quickly or if their own understanding was lacking. The events that had occurred recently had caused them to start doubting their very lives.
However, it seed that things were not yet over, because the Monster King of Guru Mountain was still unconscious.
Both the monsters of Guru Mountain and the masters from the Alchemy Workshop knew Grand Master Guzan quite well. No one doubted his power. However, for him to faint against such an opponent without putting up any significant resistance—that was definitely not normal.
Kevin and the others knew the Great ntor well and understood that such a level of damage shouldn't have been enough to render him unconscious.
What could possibly make the Great ntor lose consciousness was clear to them. In the distance, Twin Peaks were enshrouded in mist, yet sohow the white Smoke seed to have a shadow within.
This scene looked sowhat precarious; under the peculiar weather of Guru Mountain, it appeared even more mysterious.
Twin Peaks housed sealed scrolls; the creatures of Guru Mountain knew this. They had skilled guardians in place, and Xiso was one of them.
The Great ntor's unconsciousness made Kevin feel a premonition of a worsening situation, potentially arising from Twin Peaks.
If he were to continue weighing the conflicts with the Alchemy Workshop at this ti, Kevin knew he would truly be a simpleton. The reason he and Xiso had been able to serve as the Great ntor's left and right arms was due to their ticulous thinking. Though Kevin might seem gruff and easily agitated, internally he knew how to prioritize.
"Joseph, can you still fly?" Kevin struggled to support his body with his sword. He staggered upright; the Great ntor's state was clearly concerning him.
"I…" Joseph hesitated. Regrettably, he knew his body could no longer summon wings. However, Kevin's inquiry certainly involved important matters. He couldn't outright refuse; if he forced his Spirit Power, there was still hope of flying so distance.
"Don't force it. Now is not the ti for that," Kevin said, recognizing Joseph's predicant. He didn't want the flying hawk of Dawn Peak to permanently lose his ability to fly.
Their group of monsters had already lost Dastan; at this mont, they didn't want to lose anyone else.
"If only we knew what was happening there," Simon remarked, also realizing what Kevin was worried about.
"Xiso wouldn't fail." Yuga opened his squinted eyes. His Spirit Power was recovering quickly. Being familiar with the Natural Force, he naturally knew how to efficiently absorb Spirit Power from nature.
"But, the Great ntor... he…" Jemma couldn't help but start worrying.
The Alchemy Workshop was abruptly ignored by this group of monsters. It seed as if their presence was no longer considered a threat.
However, the people of the Alchemy Workshop were not upset, for they soon realized they shared the sa concerns as these monsters.
Everyone cared a great deal about the Great ntor. Up to now, the ntor had shown no signs of movent; it was as if he had suffered a severe blow.
"What's wrong with the ntor?" Milo asked, breaking the silence on the Alchemy Workshop's side.
Kuyi Tulan himself was very concerned as well, but he wouldn't ask like Milo. He knew this group of monsters harbored resentnt towards him and wouldn't calmly answer any of his questions.
It was better for Milo to ask. After all, he was also a disciple of the Great ntor, and previously, Milo's straightforwardness had always been welcod by them.
"The ntor has gone deep into the mountains. He is trying to protect sothing there," Kevin said, turning back to Milo. Having fought side by side, they shared a degree of mutual understanding.
"Astral projection? My God, I've only heard about this kind of technique in legends, and now I can see it…"
An excited voice suddenly echoed across the sky, childlike and innocent. It belonged to the Witch Spirit, Kuruto. She had been silent for a very long ti; it seed as if she had disappeared when the Dark Force attacked. Now, she had suddenly reappeared, which was quite odd.
The Great ntor was indeed using astral projection. He had sent his consciousness to Twin Peaks, while his physical body remained in Moonflow Stream. This technique was also known by others as an out-of-body experience.
Whatever it was called, the fact was that the Great ntor's consciousness was not there.
The eerie mist shrouding Twin Peaks had put the monsters of Guru Mountain on high alert…
Twin Peaks had always been a mysterious place on Guru Mountain; few had ever visited. The monsters guarding it were rarely seen elsewhere on Guru Mountain. It could be said that these guardians were among the most enigmatic figures on Guru Mountain.
Only Xiso had t them, but now Xiso was at Twin Peaks, so no one knew the actual situation there.
Perhaps Kevin knew a little, but at that mont his eyebrows were knitted, and he showed no intention of speaking.
Now, everyone's gaze was fixed on the anomalous Twin Peaks…
What was odd about Twin Peaks? It was the circulating mist. What had once been a veil of white mist had now transford into a pale red mass, as if a luminous glow shone upon these clouds.
"What's happening there?" Igor asked, also unwittingly drawing closer. Clearly, the changes at Twin Peaks had put everyone on guard.
Not much ti had passed since they had regained so stability, and now a new situation had arisen. It truly made one feel helpless…
What the crowd didn't expect was that this was rely the beginning. The astounding transformation of Twin Peaks had only just begun to manifest.
The Red Mist gradually faded, and then they saw a plu of gray gas rising into the air. Just as this gray gas began to ascend, RUMBLE! A deafening sound echoed, and it felt as if the entire Guru Mountain could sense the earth trembling…
The dazzling sunlight made it hard for everyone to open their eyes. The sound was so powerful that so involuntarily collapsed to their knees again…
When their eyes and ears had readjusted to the environnt, they were astonished to find that Twin Peaks had disappeared!
