Kadi did not feel this change. Except for the cold, he felt nothing.
He had wanted to say a few words to Bigas, but the cold rendered him unable to utter a complete sentence. All his actions beca incredibly slow...
This was the power of freezing. It made everything heavy and rigid.
The frost ford rapidly, covering the entire Twin Peaks in no ti. The peaks, already in the depths of winter, took on a frozen stillness under Bigas's manipulation.
At this mont, Kevin and the others had to abort their attack. None of their thods worked. The severe cold affected their bodies, making their movents slow. Even the knife in Kevin's hand felt heavy and slightly brittle due to the frost.
The creatures of Guru Mountain could only strengthen their Spirit Power. By making the power flow incessantly within their bodies, they could maintain their body temperature. This was now the only way to resist the cold and keep moving.
"Look... at... the... ss... you've... made!" Kevin said to Kadi, his speech trembling and slow from the cold.
"I... also… did… not... an to..." Kadi, already shivering with cold, replied. He did not have the creatures' ability to manipulate internal Spirit Power to ward off the cold.
Of course, Kadi wasn't the worst off. Igor, unable to move at all, was in an even more miserable state. Ever since that voice had sounded, he had been unable to move. He didn't understand why, but given the assault of the cold, he hoped the voice would at least give him a hint now.
However, the voice seed to have disappeared, saying nothing to Igor.
This shouldn't be. Has that darn voice been frozen speechless too, not uttering a word until now? Igor thought, puzzled.

How can anyone observe anything like this! Igor seethed internally, though this inner turmoil was useless against the cold.
Igor was boiling with frustration. He had been fully prepared to observe carefully, but before the seniors could devise a plan, Kadi had jumped in and caused such a huge disaster...
Previously, Igor had been very focused. He had even figured out what to observe and had grasped the key point—that gentle push. Yet, this current scene was nothing like a gentle push; it was a heavy blow!
Now, who could stop Bigas?
Probably no one.
Xiso's loud shout had not only failed but had exacerbated the situation. It showed what kind of mood Bigas was in.
Bigas, whose temperant had already been greatly altered by Xiso, grew even more incensed at his shout. This revealed how important Xiso was in her heart.
"Why... does... my... good... intention... always... end... up... in... disaster!" Kadi was sowhat puzzled. He really couldn't understand why telling the truth had infuriated the witch.
"Because… you... never… think!" Kevin said helplessly.
The cold was engulfing them. It would still take so ti for the creatures of Guru Mountain to overco the severe chill. Bigas's freezing spell was remarkably effective. If this spell were used on a battlefield, combined with attacks from other practitioners, its power would be formidable.
Even powerhouses like Kevin were slowed by this severe cold, let alone others.
Igor's tongue was now frozen stiff. If no one found a solution soon, Igor feared he would lose consciousness. He could no longer even speak...
Who could save them?
Bigas was out of control, like a madwoman. If she wasn't stopped, lives would be in danger on Twin Peaks. Although the creatures of Guru Mountain likely wouldn't be at risk, the sa could not be said for Hustace and Qi Liu. They were innocent. Why should they lose their lives over such senseless matters?
But who could save them all?
"Xiso!" the Great ntor called out. Everyone knew that the one who ties the bell is the one to untie it; since the problem had started with Xiso, he was the one who needed to resolve it.
Xiso was taken aback. He truly wanted to say that he had done his best, but it was to no avail because Bigas simply ignored him.
"It's all your fault that we're all suffering!" Witch Biggs, who was beside Xiso, complained. She had never witnessed a freeze of such a scale. Even she, a newly-advanced Wizard, was sowhat bewildered.
Should I try to freely unleash my Spirit Power in such an environnt? The thought erged in Biggs's mind, likely due to her extensive reading of wizardry literature.
Wizardry books often suggested Wizards test their Spirit Power under various conditions. For example, in weather of Intense Chill, whether they could summon natural elents like fire. Many had tried nurous tis and found that Intense Chill had no effect on summoning Fla Elentals. However, it greatly affected the survival of fire as a natural elent. Under Intense Chill, fire would be extinguished in monts due to insufficient space.
Biggs was intrigued by such matters. Now, suffering from the cold and shivering, she harbored great resentnt towards Xiso. Instinctively, however, she was also very grateful to him for providing such an excellent experintal condition.
What would the power of wind be under such extre cold? Would it be as those books described? Biggs endured the severe cold, her heart stirring with an irrepressible urge to experint.

WHOOSH. Biggs spread her arms, summoning the cold and heat from the air. There was plenty of cold, but heat was nowhere to be found. Biggs slowly focused her senses. Suddenly, her entire body ward; the re thought of manipulating the Wind Elental had allowed her to temporarily shake off the cold's assault.
