Now reading: Chapter 807 804: Wizard Robe from One-Eyed Monster, a Fantasy novel by Weyyao.

Witch Biggs was shocked that this unreliable Spirit Book could actually sense her emotions.

Unbelievable, incredible!

The Spirit Book itself hadn't anticipated that its offhand comnt would elevate its owner Igor's emotions to a new level of astonishnt, which naturally worked in its favor because as long as Igor wasn't angry, punishnt wouldn't fall on it. This, it was quite certain of.

In such monts, the Spirit Book beca sowhat proud and complacent. After all, it was quite arrogant to begin with, and now the feeling of being revered was rather delightful.

In fact, the Great Witch didn't admire this Spirit Book; she was rely shocked at how detailed this unreliable Spirit Book could be at monts like this.

Understanding a person's emotions isn't all that hard, but knowing the details of those emotions is truly challenging.

Although the Great Witch didn't hold the Spirit Book in high regard, she did see it in a new light. After all, not everyone can achieve such a feat.

"Why can't you act like this in my Divination House?" the Great Witch asked quizzically, obviously experiencing a change in attitude towards the Spirit Book, shifting from complete abandonnt to the current attitude because of its performance.

This fully demonstrates one thing: the best way to persuade people is through facts; describing the future, no matter how beautifully, can't compare to actions taken now. The Spirit Book's unintentional remark surprisingly changed others' perceptions of it, which clearly illustrates the power of factual speech.

However, the Spirit Book seed not to understand this principle; it didn't reflect on it.

"What, what in your Divination House?" At this mont, the Spirit Book paid special attention to the Great Witch's words since it was supposed to help the Great Witch solve her problems.

The Great Witch was dumbfounded by the Spirit Book, then she thought of its unreliable nature and shook her head helplessly, "Forget it, what could you possibly know?"

Though spoken lightly, the Spirit Book tasted it differently; it felt it was being mocked, and suddenly, all the arrogance it carried surged forth.

"What, what do you an I wouldn't know? I'm the celebrated creation of Lord Soron; naturally, I know more than you do. Don't underestimate !" The Spirit Book seed sowhat angry and irate...

But the Great Witch didn't engage it at all, continuing to worry about the future.

"Express any concerns you have, let's see if I know," the Spirit Book shouted, very concerned about what the Great Witch was discussing.

There's no way a proud being could endure being questioned; the Spirit Book was determined to prove itself.

"Enough, give it a rest," Igor couldn't stand it anymore; he detested this kind of pompous, condescending attitude from the Spirit Book.

When it used to retain traces of Soron's Spirit Power, it would occasionally speak in Soron's style. Just thinking about it made Igor chuckle. Now that it had finally freed itself from Soron's Spirit Power and beco a separate Spirit Book, the bad habits hadn't changed...

"I can't stand such humiliation, I must prove to her that I am all-knowing..."

"Don't, proving if you're all-knowing—pah—is simple. You just need to solve the problem, and everything's fine!" Igor said, as he really didn't want to hear the Spirit Book continue its powerless ranting.

The Great Witch maintained her own pace, ignoring whatever the two discussed, which was quite similar to the creatures on Guru Mountain.

"Uh..." Only Igor's words could calm the Spirit Book, "Master, speak, I will surely satisfy the master and definitely won't disgrace the master."

"You don't have to call master anymore, I've said it several tis and you still haven't changed." Igor scratched his head.

"Yes, master!"

Igor's face darkened, but he couldn't express displeasure imdiately, as the Spirit Book's attitude was good now. Never mind, let's solve the imdiate issue first. He could worry about those bad habits later.

"Uh, have you heard what everyone is discussing? We're all talking about a wizard robe..."

"Wizard robe? What's there to discuss about this thing; it's just a symbol, less practical than the wizard's magic staff." The Spirit Book spoke loudly before Igor could finish.

From the Spirit Book's words, it's clear that it doesn't care at all about wizard robes, considering them dispensable and unable to offer any aningful contribution to wizards.

"This..." Igor scratched his head, unsure why the Spirit Book responded this way.

"The wizard robe is just a shackle, erasing a wizard's true nature. Such things should've been eliminated by future generations!" the Spirit Book continued.

Indeed, in reality, wizard robes are used to differentiate wizard hierarchies: black robes, gray robes acquiesce to white robes, and a holy robe's appearance silences white robes. This iconic item makes the hierarchy distinct; seeing a wizard robe instantly reveals the wizard's power, which makes many wizards proud, since possessing a white robe generally earns respect wherever they go.

"You sound like wizard robes are pretty bad, huh?" Igor scratched his head, feeling sothing was off.

"Of course, that's what Lord Soron docunted. I'm just relaying the description!" the Spirit Book said confidently.

"Soron?" Igor found it odd, as wasn't Lord Soron revered by wizards? Why would he have differing opinions on wizard robes, an item approved by the Wizard Alliance?

"Wizard robes were created as tools for rulers to govern, having no value, rely selecting wizards for imdiate action contrary to their true intent; any true follower of Natural Force should scorn them! Taken from Chapter 8 Appendix, the bad habits of the Kayne Empire's Five Forces Alliance - the drawbacks of wizard robes."

The Spirit Book quoted Lord Soron's original words verbatim.

"See, Soron couldn't even write coherently about them, showing his deep loathing of wizard robes!"

"This..." Igor couldn't believe it.
