But just as Nakasha took a step forward and was about to raise his hand against the carriage owner, his body suddenly froze, as if sothing had bound his hands and feet, and the arm he raised couldn't co down...
"Oh, co on..." Nakasha found himself wanting to curse, but even talking had beco difficult.
"I'm telling you, I'm not afraid of you. Don't think that just because you have numbers, you can use violence against . You gang of thugs, it's truly disgraceful to wear those clothes."
Igor also found this strange. This was supposed to be a one-sided fight, so how did it turn into such a scene? He initially intended to help the carriage owner, but now it seed completely unnecessary.
Because those League Guards couldn't even get close to the carriage owner, which was quite bizarre.
Igor couldn't understand this scene, nor could the Guards of Luona, and they all started speculating about the identity of the carriage owner.
This level of immobilization should be high-level magic. Could this be a hidden professional veteran? If so, they were in big trouble.
However, judging from the carriage owner's attire and behavior, he didn't seem like a professional, let alone, they couldn't feel any spirit power fluctuations.
The only professionals who could hide spirit power fluctuations were Hunters, but high-level Hunters wouldn't expose themselves like this.
It's pretty simple; Hunters are skilled at stealth ability, and they would also hide their presence. Exposing themselves like this is disgraceful.
This is getting off track. Now, Nakasha and his group can't move, yet they can't guess the opponent's identity, making them uncomfortable. The unrelated connections popping into their minds are even more frustrating.
Continuing like this isn't an option. However, they found that not only could they not move forward, they couldn't speak at all, completely like statues...
"I'm telling you, you shouldn't be so aggressive; this is not right." The carriage owner continued to chatter about his reasoning, as Nakasha and his gang stood there with gritted teeth, unable to move. Seeing this, the other guards on the carriage rushed over without a word. It's frankly an odd sight that these guards don't think of saving their comrades but instead rush in to fight, clearly falling into a trap, imdiately becoming immobilized.
"Idiots..." Nakasha wanted to curse these subordinates, but speaking was indeed very difficult.
This scene left Igor scratching his head. He couldn't believe the carriage owner had such ans; this thod directly neutralized the opponent's combat power to zero. Igor wavered, wondering if he should try too.
At this mont, everyone was thinking about whether they could break through this barrier, not caring about those who couldn't move, showing that sotis professionals are indeed a bit arrogant.
Igor scratched his head, wanting to try, but seeing so many people immobilized, he hesitated since he wasn't soone impulsive. Actually, Igor wanted to know what was happening since he's curious about everything.
"I'm telling you, you can't always think of using violence to subdue others; this mindset is wrong. Also, you underestimate people too much." The carriage owner continued to ramble. He didn't have a look of triumph, but rather seed to have lost sothing valuable.
Igor froze, thinking hard and unable to understand. He realized he couldn't figure these things out alone and increasingly felt the need for help. Then he rembered Stan Sol, the ancient Hunter, who must know about these bizarre occurrences.
So, Igor hastily ran to the steam car, babbling a lot to Stan Sol, hoping for an answer to his confusion.
However, Stan Sol, resting with eyes closed, pointed a finger at Young Master Hustace beside him and then closed his eyes again.
Igor understood that for now, besides Hustace, Stan Sol couldn't focus on anything else. He needed to use Hustace's identity to negotiate with Governor Rostov to learn about his brother. Igor didn't want to disturb Stan Sol further, so he had to figure it out himself.
At this mont, a hungover Young Master Hustace groggily woke up. Seeing Igor looking troubled, he beca curious about what had Igor so distressed.
"Igor," Hustace interrupted Igor's thoughts, "What's going on? Why are you outside the car? Where are the others?"
Igor rubbed his temples and pointed outside, looking helpless: "Just a little accident turned into a big conflict."
"Hmm?" Hustace instantly beca curious, quickly getting off the car, ignoring the still-sleeping Qi Liu beside him.
As soon as Hustace got off the car, Stan Sol followed suit, as he was now the young master's shadow, going wherever the young master went.
After getting off, Hustace witnessed the scene before him: the League Guards frozen in peculiar poses while an oddly dressed individual across them babbling incessantly.
The peculiar individual's appearance seed slightly familiar.
Hustace rubbed his eyes, looked again, and murmured, "No way."
Igor imdiately responded, "I find it very strange too, but here it is, right in front of us."
Yet, what Hustace ant wasn't what Igor referred to. He ignored Igor and approached to take a better look at the carriage driver.
"Don't go; you'll be immobilized if you do!" Igor hastily warned, with Stan Sol following him like a shadow, worried about Hustace's safety.
But Hustace ignored them and continued forward.
"Let tell you, acting on impulse is like a devil, you're just making a bad bargain by doing this..." The coachman kept on rambling endlessly.
"Perkins, is that you, Brother Perkins," Hustace suddenly stood next to Nakasha and said, not crossing the line of people that Nakasha and the others had ford.
"Hmm?" The owner of the carriage looked at the young man speaking, with a trace of familiarity in his brows.
"It's , Hustace, Brother Perkins."
"Hustace?" The carriage owner seed a bit surprised, "My goodness, you've grown so much!"
This scene was beyond everyone's expectations, even Nakasha felt as if his bones might crumble.
Young Master Hustace called this carriage owner brother, this... this is simply a disaster. Nakasha felt a bit desperate but still couldn't move, feeling terrible.
"Brother Perkins, you are...," Hustace was puzzled.
"Oh, about the little conflict this morning, these League Guards were really unreasonable." The carriage owner nad Perkins was indeed quite familiar with Hustace.
"Is this pose supposed to be scary?"
"They can't speak, sorry about that," Perkins said.
"What on earth is going on, then? Did they end up under your spell?" Igor quickly seized the opportunity to ask.
"Haha, let tell you, this isn't a spell at all, do I look like soone with a class?" Perkins chuckled.
"Brother Perkins, you are, back?" Hustace asked again, not paying any mind to the others' situation.
"Yeah, back. Didn't Lord Governor create the Yonder Travel Academy? I've heard quite a bit about it while traveling outside all these years..."
"Mm, sob sob sob..." Before Perkins finished, Nakasha, who stood statue-like beside them, started to struggle; clearly, they wished for freedom.
"Oh oh, Brother Perkins, can you let these League Guards down? After all, they are our own people!" Hustace finally understood Nakasha's intention to resist and quickly pleaded with Perkins.
"Sorry, I can't do that." Perkins waved his hand, indicating his helplessness.
"This...," Even Igor felt a headache at this, which ant that this guy nad Perkins hadn't forgiven them for the morning's incident.
At this mont, Nakasha was feeling a bit desperate, regretting his actions imnsely!
"So, they'll just remain stuck here?" Hustace asked, feeling a little sorry for them.
"I'll tell you, it still depends on them; as long as they think about hitting , there's no way they can move."
At that mont, Nakasha indeed had thoughts of hitting this guy, feeling he had been greatly wronged.
"So they're just going to stay stuck here?"
"Haha, not necessarily, as long as they don't think about hitting , it's fine."
Nakasha couldn't calm down internally; no matter what this guy said, he felt extrely aggrieved.
To be a White Robe and suffer such humiliation was a huge joke.
"They just need to try stepping back; not moving forward doesn't an they can't step back!" Perkins said.
Imdiately, a few League Guards tried it, then collapsed on the ground; there was no way, the high-difficulty pose had lasted too long, and their bodies had stiffened.
"It's true what they say, 'take a step back and the world opens up,' don't you think so? Why be so fierce back then?" Perkins said to Nakasha with a smile, as if flaunting an achievent.
Nakasha said nothing; he knew he had offended soone he shouldn't have.
No matter how oddly this guy was dressed, he had so connection with Governor Rostov, otherwise Young Master Hustace wouldn't call him brother.
"Hey, Hustace, it suddenly hit , what are you doing here? It's still a long way from Luona, why are you in such a place?" Perkins looked at the group and suddenly realized, wondering what the governor's son was doing in the countryside.
