ROAR!
Alucard’s body rapidly regenerated; he still had four lives left in reserve!
On the other side, a chunk of Sakazuki’s shoulder had been savagely bitten off. As the Black Dog Baskerville tried to swallow Sakazuki whole, Sakazuki overca the pain and quickly regained his composure, counterattacking with a magma-infused punch that forced the Black Dog Baskerville back, though he couldn’t kill it.
"Damn it!" Sakazuki roared. When he looked to where Alucard had been standing, he found him gone.
Suddenly, a hand erged from the Black Dog Baskerville’s mouth. It was Alucard’s hand, holding a greatsword!
A diagonal cleaving strike hit Sakazuki, who was unable to defend himself in ti, forcing him back once more.
The Black Dog Baskerville gradually dissipated, reforming into Alucard.
When Sakazuki tried to pursue again, he saw Alucard’s body scatter into countless bats that flew off in different directions.
For a mont, Sakazuki didn’t know which way to pursue. Finally, he slamd his fist into the ground in frustration.
BOOM!
On the other battlefield, Garp caught Kaido’s incoming punch, twisted his body, and executed an over-the-shoulder throw, sending Kaido, who was more than three tis his size, crashing into a mountain with a trendous roar.
Garp clenched his fists, strode forward, and, with arms crossed over his chest, looked down at the fallen Kaido, declaring, "You lost, Kaido, brat!"
Kaido was in a semi-inverted position, seeing Garp’s upside-down image. "...Fine, I’ll admit defeat this ti. But whether you can actually kill is another matter, Old Man Garp!"
On the shore, Alucard avoided the main engagent between the Marines and the Beasts Pirates, landing on the island’s eastern coast. The fighting between the Marines and the Beasts Pirates was primarily concentrated on the western coast.
The exhausted Kaido was certainly no match for Garp, and his capture was inevitable. However, he wouldn’t be so easily sent to prison.
Alucard’s shadow expanded, and his ship gradually erged from within it. The number of eyes on him represented his remaining lives, but looking at them now, he could only let out a dry chuckle.
Yet, Alucard wasn’t worried. Lives were plentiful; he could always replenish them later. Alucard leaped onto the ship’s bow, settling into his chair, and steered the vessel away.

Black Dog Baskerville was an ability awakened when Alucard’s Hidden Shadow developed to Level 3. It allowed him to summon familiars by expending stored lives. This was also an ability that could be developed.
He wondered if it could grow to the size of Oars in the future. It was truly sothing to look forward to!
"That unkillable brat ran off, huh..." Amidst the utterly ravaged jungle of Baizinbur, Garp squinted at Sakazuki.
Sakazuki remained silent. He was a radical and dogmatic man who would ruthlessly eliminate his enemies, and even himself or civilians if he deed it necessary.
However, he never offered excuses or argunts for failure. After a long silence, he lowered his head and said, "It’s all my responsibility. When I return, I will voluntarily request punishnt from Headquarters..."
Garp’s gaze shifted slightly, noticing the large chunk of flesh missing from Sakazuki’s shoulder. He said, "Forget about it. A Marine’s mission often cos with failures." With that, Garp hoisted Kaido’s massive body onto his shoulder. His expression remained unchanged, showing no sign of difficulty. "Go support Kuzan and the others."
However, to Kuzan’s surprise, upon seeing their captain Kaido captured by Garp, the Beasts Pirates’ subordinates didn’t rush to rescue him. Instead, they imdiately began to retreat. It was Kuzan’s first ti clashing with the Beasts Pirates, and he couldn’t understand their actions, so he asked Garp for the reason.
Garp’s expression hardened. "You’ll understand soon enough."
Kuzan, being sharp, didn’t press the issue. When he saw that Kaido had been captured, but Alucard was not among those apprehended, he knew that Sakazuki had failed.
But Kuzan had no interest in mocking others for their mission failures. After arranging for Kaido to be properly secured, he returned to the ship to get so much-needed sleep.
"Vice Admiral Garp, another pirate escaped. Do we need to pursue?" a Marine soldier asked, approaching Garp.
"Too late, too late. Just Kaido alone was already our limit this ti. Wahahaha... Snore, snore..." Garp, who had been laughing a second ago, fell asleep standing up before finishing his sentence. No one was surprised; they were used to it.
Sakazuki, unlike the other two, had no such lack of discipline. After boarding the ship, his first action was to report the entire incident, from beginning to end, to his superiors via Den Den Mushi.
After listening to Sakazuki’s report, Admiral Sengoku imdiately reported the matter to Fleet Admiral Kong. On his way to the Fleet Admiral’s office, Sengoku gritted his teeth and thought, ’He fought Kaido to a standstill... Is he really a newcor?’
