Now reading: Chapter 290 290: I Can Be the Ship from One Piece: Alucard the Immortal, a Fantasy novel by JuanFiction.

San Juan Wolf beca a supercriminal with a 92,000,000 Beri bounty in an extrely short amount of ti. He had a terrifying track record of devouring two islands and swallowing several Marine battleships.

Currently, no species has been discovered that surpasses him in size, with the exception of creatures like whales.

His initial bounty of 92,000,000 Beri, which surpassed the 79,000,000 Beri of Nico Robin, the "Devil Child of Ohara," proved that in the governnt's eyes, Wolf's threat level was even higher than hers.

After swimming for an unknown amount of ti, Wolf discovered an island ahead and, without a second thought, climbed out of the sea.

Although he usually ate sea creatures and even Sea Kings, he was also capable of consuming buildings and even entire islands as food. No one knew how his stomach worked.

But then again, nothing was truly strange in this great ocean; anything was possible.

As Wolf's hand reached for the shipyard near Alucard, his finger suddenly felt a sharp pain. Out of habit, he imdiately retracted his hand and looked at it. The tip of his right index finger, as well as the knuckle on the back of the sa finger, had been pierced by a small hole, no bigger than a pinprick. Blood was oozing out.

Given Wolf's imnse size, the wound was less than the size of a pinhole, yet blood continued to flow from the piercing in his finger.

Wolf licked the wound, then carefully moved his gigantic body closer to the shipyard. He saw Alucard holding a white pistol, smoke still curling from the barrel. It was clear that the attack had co from him.

"You bastard! You bastard! How dare you interrupt my al!"

Wolf behaved like a simpleton, stomping his feet in anger. Each stomp made the island shake violently. He raised his hand again, but this ti his target wasn't the shipyard, it was Alucard himself.

His colossal hand, which nearly blotted out the sky, descended on top of Alucard. The mont it slamd down, the entire pier was instantly annihilated. The resulting shockwave sent a storm of foam and water everywhere, which didn't subside for a long ti.

"You bastard, you bastard, I got him! I got him!"

Wolf cheered, just about to retract his hand, but when he tried to move his left hand, he realized it was stuck to the ground as if glued in place.

Looking down, Wolf saw that his hand was encased in a thick, red-and-black pool of blood. Countless hands were reaching out from within, holding his giant palm firmly in place, making him unable to move.

"What?!"

Wolf's expression changed. Just as he was about to exert more force, Alucard erged from the pool of blood between Wolf's fingers. He jumped onto Wolf's arm and, with incredible speed, raced from his hand to his shoulder, and then to his face.

"Get out of my way!"

Wolf ignored his left hand and clenched his right into a fist, swinging it at Alucard. "Hmph!"

Alucard snorted. The Black Light Virus condensed into a giant sword in his right hand, which was instantly coated in a black layer of Armant Haki. He t Wolf's fist head-on.

The resulting shockwave swept across the area. After a two-second stalemate in mid-air... "Owwwwww!"

Wolf cried out in pain, shaking his right hand. A huge gash had been cut into the back of his middle and index fingers, which were now bleeding profusely. The sword, like a tiny needle, was still lodged in the back of his gigantic right middle finger.

"It hurts! It hurts! It hurts!"

Wolf continued to howl in pain, but Alucard's attack wasn't over. He clenched his right fist, hardening it with Armant Haki, and delivered a powerful punch to Wolf's nose.

Bang!

With a thunderous crash, Wolf's massive body began to topple. His enormous head, which occupied almost half of his body's mass, slamd into the cliff behind him, causing the mountain to collapse and crush a number of houses below.

Alucard landed on Wolf's chest. Although the creature's body structure was peculiar—its head and neck seed to be a single unit with no discernible neck—Alucard could easily navigate him.

"Ugh, please... please..."

Wolf covered his bleeding nose with one hand and struggled with his enormous body.

Alucard walked across Wolf's face and stopped by his eye socket. In Wolf's eye, he saw Alucard's right hand churning with a grotesque, red substance. It gave him a strong sense of foreboding.

"We had Zephyr, a half-successful test subject. But what would happen if I were to add this to you?" Alucard asked with a twisted smile, ready to inject the Black Light Virus into the giant monster to see what would happen.

"Wait! Wait!"

Just as Alucard was about to inject the virus, Wolf frantically held up his hand and yelled, "I recognize you! I recognize you! You're Alucard the Immortakl from the New World!"

Alucard's hand paused. He blinked. "So what?"

"I… I've always wanted to be a great pirate, but I've never been able to achieve it. It's so great to et you! Please, please let join your pirate crew!"

Wolf clasped his hands together and shook them as if praying to a god. "You?"

Alucard temporarily lowered his hand. His smile remained, but it was filled with sarcasm. "What good are you?"

In a fight, this guy's enormous body could likely match or even surpass a Giant Marine, but that alone didn't impress Alucard at all.

"I... I..."

Wolf was montarily choked up, unsure how to answer. After shaking his head for a mont, a sudden idea ca to him. Before Alucard could execute him, he quickly blurted out, "I... I can be the ship! See, a body as big as mine is perfect for a ship, isn't it?"

"A ship?"

Alucard tilted his head slightly. What a coincidence. His beloved ship had just had its "natural death," and now a "new ship" had presented itself. Even though this guy's appearance was a bit… underwhelming, but still…

Alucard considered it for a mont, then said, "Alright, but on one condition." "What is it?" Wolf asked, confused.

"You're not allowed to speak." Alucard said indifferently, retracting the virus, though it was probably only a temporary asure.
